Gravity [Dream Edition] Reservations Tracker

Advertising a number for a vehicle not for sale?

I have no answer for you.

It’s like saying, only $599 with a foot note that says the down payment is 200k, with a 1,000 credit score, and the chart only goes up to 850.
Many manufacturers advertise vehicles that are not yet for sale. The rest of your post is just plain silly.

I get what he's saying. The issue is that the 410 mile range is quoted as being for the 5 seater. However, the DE only comes in 7 seat configuration. This means the 410 is a false number, unless the footnote had a typo (meaning 7 seats not 5). It's a good catch by @037. @marqie can you confirm if the range footnote is accurate or if it was a typo?

It was actually spotted by another member, I never in my wildest dreams would have thought to doubt a straight number like that…but now that I am, I am going down the config list to see which options I don’t really need, so far I can drop the order by 8k without much pain. I like to have it all, but I feel like I need a backup plan if more games end up on the lease contract when they are finally ready to sell me a vehicle.

It was a typo. It is "3-row, 7-seat."

Regardless of the footnote, the configurator has always shown 410 miles for the 20"/7 seat DE config. I think this was a cut/paste error, or they used the same template as the regular Gravity announcements and just didn't update the row/seats numbers.

They are still taking donations when you pick the color black, purluxe premium interior or wheel size other than 22/23. D1ck move in my opinion.
Then don’t buy a DE, and get the GT you want.

Choices are great, but free downgrades? Not sure that’s a good way to appreciate your customers.
That’s one way to look at it. The other way is that the other wheels are free upgrades.

You see the glass half empty. I see it half full.

. . . I never in my wildest dreams would have thought to doubt a straight number like that . . . .

Not too long ago the order configurator suddenly showed orders were open for a 2026 Lucid Gravity. That, too, caused some confusion until it turned out to be a typo.

I have learned that, despite building phenomenal cars, some at Lucid can have a bit of trouble with typing.

It’s not a good look with the color, interior and wheels. That’s 5k+ worst case scenario difference. Even if $$ was no object it’s insulting.
Then don’t buy it, and get a GT for a lot more than $5k less.

It’s only insulting if you choose to be insulted by it. Think about it in the other direction: if you were planning on getting the smallest wheels, the bigger ones are now free upgrades. If you were planning on not spending the money for the other colors or leather, now those are free upgrades.

You don’t have to spend the extra money for a DE. Nobody is forcing you to.

Being insulted by a choice nobody is forcing you to make seems like an odd thing to be insulted about, but you do you. :)

Yep, you won’t be bitching about being screwed out of downgrade costs when you get the bill to replace even one of those tires and rims.

The lower profile performance tires and rims on the Lucid’s look great but they’re not worth the stress imo. I learnt the hard way on the Air with a $1600 tire and rim replacement and downgraded as soon as I could.
lol, I’m only amused because my 19s got put on twice and then sat in my garage for years before I sold them barely used on this forum two months ago.

Of my tires, the *only two* that ever had any kind of road hazard? Two of the 19s 🤣

Wish I had your luck

410 mile range is what I was looking for. Let me order it now.

Is there a special way to get to this DE configurator? I've already placed my order for the Dream Edition (over the phone with my sales advisor) but never actually have been able to get to the online configurator. It looks like the graphics are different (better) than the regular one. (and yes, I'm logged into my account and it still doesn't show the DE option, just the GT)

Weird, I can see it by logging into my account and click on design yours and it shows up as an option under the GT

Just to be clear, it's the same configurator as the GT. The DE isn't a different configurator, it's just a "Trim" selection on the first tab that locks in certain required options and locks out others.

It doesn't show that trim when I go to the configurator. Just the regular GT. I guess it's not activated in my account for some reason?

I can only see the GT trim. Very odd...maybe it's because I just ordered it earlier this week and never actually got the "upgrade" invite that everyone else on here got. 🤷‍♂️

That would be why. There’s some list you’re not on, I guess. Perhaps @marqie can help set you up since you already have an order in place.
