Gravity [Grand Touring] Reservations Tracker

I believe that the “Hands-free” portion is still a planned for future upgrade to DreamDrive 2 Pro. This is one of the key areas I am looking forward to you early Gravity owners to give input on differences/improvements with DreamDrive 2 Pro vs the original DreamDrive Pro.
Good point, Gravity owners with DD2 Pro, how exactly does "Hands-free" driving operate?

When engaged, how long can you drive hands-free before you are prompted to put your hands back on the wheel?

How well does it handle curves in the road?

It isn’t out yet.

The Air handles curves great; I don’t see why Gravity wouldn’t.

Are you saying the few Gravity owners with DD2 Pro have zero hands-free driving capability, even for 10 or 15 seconds at a time? If so, that's a giant miss for Lucid!

That’s not what hands free means in Lucid parlance. Just like in the Air, it will warn you to jiggle or apply torque to the wheel after 15 seconds or so.

Hands free means it won’t do that as long as your eyes are on the road, and that doesn’t exist in either vehicle her.

As I posted, you misunderstood my question. I wasn't asking if does FSD, I know already it does not. Just wondering if it can drive at all for you.

For now, DD2 Pro offers very little for the cost but should be better in the future with the OTA updates Lucid is suggesting will be coming.

I have the feeling that DD2 Pro should be comparable to your current EQS right now but hopefully upgrade to something like GM Supercruise by this fall.

I didn't misunderstand your question, but let me clarify.

"Hands-free driving" is a specific name for a feature (which is not FSD either), and which is coming to both Gravity and Air. That feature is where you will not need to have your hands on the wheel at all as long as your eyes are facing forward and the camera can see you're paying attention. There is no time limit on this, and the vehicle will happily drive for you on the highway as long as you maintain a forward gaze and are paying attention. That does not exist today in either vehicle, but is slated to arrive "soon." To reiterate, that is not FSD, as you mentioned.

Both vehicles, however, do have steering and adaptive cruise control on highways, which will drive for you even if you take your hands off the wheel, but only for a maximum of 10-15 seconds before it warns you to put your hands back on the wheel. That is not "hands-free driving," however, as described above. That is simply the standard "Drive Assist," which both vehicles have today.
