Little problems, big problems, they all deserve our attention. What's important is the lessons we teach ourselves and our children. My kids were 12, 10, and 10 at the time of the fire. We left with nothing except what we were wearing and the dogs. This experience taught me the value of understanding and patience. Dealing the city, HOA, insurance company, contractors, etc. taught me that you definitely catch more flies with honey than vinegar. That's why some of the rants and entitled whining I see here on the forum rub me the wrong way.
