hiiii! has anyone either: a) had experience with repairing/replacing something under the powertrain warranty or b) know what exactly is covered? i’ve been reading through the warranty guide but you know how it goes sometimes warranties :))

for additional context: i’ve been casually diagnosing with my service technician friends a vibration that occurs while driving. at first, i thought it might be a wheel balancing issue, but it’s not consistent or proportional to speed. now, i think we’ve pinpointed it to occurring during moderate acceleration at or after 55-60mph. our general consensus is potentially an issue with the front axle. (again just a guess, not exactly sure what the mechanical schematics of the Air are)

i’d like to see about heading to the Lucid Service Center in Houston but.. also not sure what to expect and don’t exactly want to get into a bind in case i don’t get a lucky draw of the cards. i’m not sure if the mobile tech service in Austin would also be a potential start?

any insight or advice would be appreciated!

We've had the high-voltage battery pack and the rear drive unit replaced under our car. Covered entirely by warranty.

The 8-year warranty covers the battery pack (as long as it maintains at least 70% of original charge capacity) and the drive units, including transmission and differential.

It's not clear whether the Wunderbox is under the 8-year warranty. I think a couple of forum members have had the Wunderbox replaced, so maybe they can weigh in.

The warranty is here: https://lucidmotors.com/s3fs-public/2022-01/lucid-air-new-vehicle-limited-warranty-2021.pdf
