WANTED: Floor Mat "COVERAGE" Opinions from Owners of Tuxmat, 3D and LinerX

Tuxmat for the Touring came in stock last week. Installed them last night. I am pleased with the coverage, look, and feel. Pictures with the Tahoe interior.
The clearance under the front seats is pretty low, yours is already coming up in the back behind the passenger front seat, be sure to use the clips in those areas to force it down.

My TuxMat sets arrive tomorrow! Thanks for all the advice.,

I just got a set of tuxmats for my Sapphire, but the adhesive on the velcro tabs doesn't really stick to the side of the footwells. It doesn't appear there are gaps in the trim to use the other clips either. Anyone else experience this?

I have the tuxmats in my Touring and used them with the clips, not the adhesive. Works great. I was confused until I watched the video on their website on how to install them.

I'll take another look, but it didn't seem like there were gaps to slide the clips into. Thanks!

Right where the carpet meets the plastic

I just had to use a little more force than I was comfortable doing the first time around. Fits perfect now. Thank you both!

I am thinking about ordering the tuxmats for my Air pure, from this amazon review it looks like someone had an issue with pressing the accelerator down fully. Has anyone with the tuxmats experienced this?

No problem with the TuxMats on my Air GT. I’ve had them for quite awhile now.

Received mine yesterday for Touring model, Do we need to install the clips?

The clips hold the mat's edges in tighter against the footwell trim. They're easy to use.

Is there any difference between the 2024 and 2025 AT models? I recently leased the 2025 model and noticed that Tuxmat specifically for 2025 isn't available. However, mats for the 2024 model are listed on Amazon.

Yes. I. March Tuxmat will release the 2025 version that allows for the posts that secure the mats in the 2025 cars.

Trying to decide between Tuxmats, 3D and LinerX for the front. My concern is the exposed carpet area to the left of the dead pedal to the door frame.

3D Mats do NOT cover the carpet to the left of the dead pedal. There is exposed carpet and I tend to rest my foot on that carpeted area there (big feet). It seems the LinerX MAY have the same issue - exposed carpet to the left of the dead pedal.

In my experience, with Audis in COLORADO WINTERS, the carpeted area around the dead pedal gets caked with dirt and salt in the winter. When custom Weathertech came out for Audis, Colorado Audi owners were in heaven. It was the first floor mat that covered the entire accelerator pedal to dead pedal and area to the left of the dead pedal to the door frame - trapping a gallon of slush, dirt and salt.

From looking at photos, Tuxmats look like the best sidewall coverage - although there are some YouTubes that question Tuxmat fit and how they hold up as floor mats with heavy foot traffic.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Sorry for starting a new thread but the 38 page Floor Mats thread seemed to just die out. Apologies in advance, Bobby et al
I have the Tuxmats in my AGT and they cover very well, I recommend them.

Anyone know if there is any changes between 2025 and 2024? Just picked up my 2025 Touring and TuxMats only lists up to model year 2024 for it.

Yes, 2025 has the secure "lugs" for connecting the mats. The 2024 just uses velcro. According to @Blue Lectroid TuxMats will be available for 2025 in March.

Oh gotcha, thanks for the info! Will def be on the lookout for them

I took my Tuxmats out after a few months. Hated them. First, it makes the car feel/look like you're in an Uber or something. Second, they are NOT waterproof. I had a small coffee drip onto one of them, it seeped through entirely to my carpets underneath. Thankfully my steam cleaner took that stain out. Also, because they're not waterproof, they just soak up and hold moisture like crazy. I thought something was wrong with my car because it was constantly fogging up beyond belief. I was forced to run the front and rear defoggers pretty much constantly.

But yes, their coverage is good. I ended up going with the Lucid floor mats, and while their coverage is poor, at least they're waterproof.

3D is also waterproof, fwiw.
