Just got the update notification.

Really happy about the drive assist updates. Very interested to see the efficiency updates too.

Just last week was averaging 3.5 @ 70ish from NY to PA. Guess I'll do another drive this weekend for funsies.

Not that efficiency is my concern, I have a feeling it’s not increased efficiency as much as it is getting back the efficiency lost due to previous updates.

Well, I'm irritated, this update started installing without me saying it could, so now I'm locked out of my car when I was supposed to go somewhere.

In 3 years of ownership, this has never happened. In 2 years of ownership in the other car, this has never happened to me. Do you share your app log in credentials with some one else like a spouse or child that could have initiated without your knowledge?

Nope, just me. This is also the first time it's happened to me. Before I had to agree to start the update.

I've experienced my phone doing things autonomously while in my pocket.
Any possibility this could be the reason here?

Hey! You guys be happy you have the update at all! I'm dyin' here!!!! :-)

The last time around, three guys with Ford Mustangs got 2.6.11 before I did, and they weren't even Mustang EVs!

That's very, very odd. I've gone through a bunch of updates in the past, never seen anything close to that. It takes work, whether through the app or within the vehicle.

That’s… not a thing. Is it possible you accidentally tapped it? I’ve never seen this occur *or* heard of it before now.

Well, slap my face and call me Betty! I no sooner wrote this, and my update arrived. I'll never complain again. Yeah! That's the ticket! I'll never complain again.

I had the standard install button and three “are you sure” pop ups. This is the most “are you sure” pop ups I’ve ever had. That’s super random that happened to you.

“Are you sure” you or your significant other didn’t go through these steps and send the update down range?

I don’t know because I drive the shit out of my car, but if I did, you probably did too.

Plus if they are adding efficiency in a software update, is it possible they took efficiency in a past update???

Should we expect an EPA update on miles per kWh?
