I don't believe it, but it is pushing stock price today. The real issue is Lucid has not been forthcoming about the delays. Not that they have to reveal every problem but deliveries are late and the company is too silent.

I think this is already public knowledge since they mentioned the delays on the earnings call and they haven't actually released anything problematic to the public.

I'm surprised it took this long for something to come out. I don't believe this was the issue for the delay at all (could be wrong) but probably wouldn't have hurt if Lucid simply said "Due to unforeseen circumstances the car is delayed until April" or something along those lines earlier in the year. Instead it took them a whole 4 months to actually give some information. Trolls be trolling so sometimes it's better to get ahead of the narrative than trying to correct course when something like this drops.

That being said though, that site isn't exactly reputable so this probably won't blow up into a PR disaster.

I saw that bogus click-bait article this morning. The title is very misleading and the article is BS and from a shady, unreliable "EV News" site that can't even spell "electric" correctly in the URL. The article title implies there is an "issue" with safety...then the article actually states that it merely hasn't been fully tested for 3rd row safety being the "issue"....BIG DIFFERENCE between an actual "issue" and "just hasn't been done yet".

We've also banned that source from this forum quite a while ago and @nicktwork confirmed it was nonsense on Twitter/X/whatever-its-called.
