Anything and everything can happen at a startup. You never know which new problem will turn out to be easily solved, or which can change the trajectory of the company. "Everyone has a plan 'till they get punched in the mouth". Presuming that bedbugs are in the easy category.

“okay, we’ve got bugs, what are we doing to fix them?”

“No sir, we’ve got real bugs”

“Fine, I get it. Do we need more overtime? For whom?”

“No, … they’re real bugs. Bedbugs.”

“I’m sorry what?! Who brought beds into the factory?!”
