Review: The Queen Of EVs Is Still Very Much The Lucid Air

  • Finicky proximity app and key.
*sigh* - This just won't disappear from reviews 3 years in.
Sure, but there was a hell of a lot more in that review lol. It got a 10/10. That bullet wouldn’t be my takeaway haha

Well, it's true for me. It's gotten better over time but it's one of the few negative aspects of the car. Has this changed substantially in the newest cars off the line?

I agree, it was a good review just sad to see that this still gets called out after 3 years of producing cars. Didn't shit on the software though which is great to see but hello Lucid, Android Auto *cough* *cough*

Well this was a 2025 model so clearly not. I agree, its gotten better and mine is fine 95% of the time which is ok for me but does seem many are experiencing the issue much worse than what I am. The time mine does decide to act up is when it's pissing down with rain, hands full and getting drenched while fumbling around trying to get the car to open 😂 . Thank god I live in SoCal where it hardly rains, lol.

Great review.

That works.
