An out-of-spec long-term review of the 2025 GT just came out. I am still watching it but overall great feedback with a few known “nit picks” in their own words such as charging curve, unlocking, etc. Whatever the nit picks may be, it is still the best damn car in the world and people don't know what they are missing if they haven't driven one!

Hahahaha...they were justifying going below zero in the surge.....they are not taking responsibility for it....WHO GOES BELOW ZERO? And they call themselves EV experts.....hogwash...and they call us obnoxious owners for calling them out on it. They should show a little humility and own up to being irrational.

I agree there is likely no embargo. The lack of reporting is likely do to the unavailability of production vehicles for reviews to sample.

I'm hoping that this means early Gravities will be in studios for test drives soon.

They want to do 0% to talk some negative or show negative or else they would have acknowledged it rather then saying buffer is not consistent. Hope no conspiracy involved 😅

Actually enjoyed this video a lot more than the previous reviews, where I disagreed with many of the conclusions they reached. Glad to see his clear admiration of the car. Once you get past his obsession with the Taycan's charging, which is not something I've ever dealt with or obsessed about with my AGT, he acknowledges that as a total package, the car is truly world-class. Yes, the door locking/unlocking is annoying, but compared to the problems that the car had in 2022, these are tiny little nits. With over 25k miles, it's still the best car I've ever owned (until I get my hands on the Gravity, sometime next year)
BTW- has anyone else ever heard about the headlight whine thing? No idea what he's talking about.

The highlight of this video was definitely the confirmation that at least someone, somewhere will be getting a Gravity to review in the coming days...which means hopefully some reviews will start trickling out. I just hope the Gravity they get is actually a production vehicle so the upcoming reviews aren't riddled with "Well, this is a preproduction vehicle so we hope XXXXX will be fixed by the time it's in customer hands."

On a side note, I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hope they get the key right for the Gravity (especially after watching this video which still shows frustrations with something so basic).

its a traditional key for the Gravity, nothing " fancy " like our Air.

I listened to the video while driving, the part complaining about ADAS was a bit excessive as this should be a car review.

To summarize the video, Lucid Air is the beat damn sedan in the world.

The thought has occurred to me more than once that the key situation on the Air is an embarrassment to Lucid. It's the kind of things that haters and even new prospective customers can easily hold on to -- the perfect sound bite or meme in an age of them. "A $125,000 car that cannot even allow its owner to get into it easily!" Certainly in the Out of Spec videos (as there are now four full hour+ videos about the 2025 GT) this is a recurring theme that is not only commented on by the reviewers, but visually obvious as they are standing near the car MANY times with the lights flashing and door handles popping up and retracting repeatedly.

IF YOU RELLY WANT TO SAY "WE MAKE THE BEST CAR IN THE WORLD" WITH ANY KIND OF AUTHORITY, YOU FIX THAT!! Even if it means sending EVERY existing owner of an Air new Key FOBs with a personal letter apologizing for the inconvenience. It's concerning that they did not get something so basic right and that it has not been fixed. It makes clear that their is a culture / execution mismatch somewhere along the line in the organization that I hope Lucid grows out of.

I really don't understand all the talk about the key fob. In the year or so of me having my AGT I have used the actual keyfob only a few times to open the car. the only time the car failed to open was when the battery in the fob was running low, a battery change fixed the issue.

Well when you approach the car in the rain carrying fresh baked pies and the car just sits there you'd understand.

Also why can I lock the car with the fob (passive lock turned off) when I'm 20 feet away yet unlocking will not work unless I am right at the car.

They can’t. Peter has discussed that they have a binding contract with the key manufacturer.
