OTA Update 2.6.0

Mine too -- 2.6.0 has a number of gems, super-smooth for me, both vehicle and phone app.
Yes the little rear of my own Lucid appears when Adaptive Cruise is on, now with turn signals and brake lights.
Peace of mind that they're working and I'm visible to anyone behind me not looking at their phone (so 50% of drivers?)
I really love it when stuff I already paid for gets better and better and better!
I know how I'll be replacing my family fleet as the current non-Lucids hit expiration dates!

Customer Care put in some kind of case update / ticket to have the software pushed again. They estimated it might not happen until the weekend is over.

Took the car out for a drive this morning, and everything still seems to be functioning correctly.

This happens. It’ll install properly the second time, most likely. I’ve had it happen once, with no issues afterward.

Looks like quite a few folks here report significant problems with the installation or after it. Would it make sense to wait until 2.6.1 to update?

No. You want 2.6.0.

Damn my spelling, I’m having huge issues driving long distances on dd pro…. It wail some times just drop out and then allow me to restart it but other times it’s dome for the entire drive which really sucks.

They give you whole detail on screen in the car that you can read before installing...

Does anyone know of dream drive woes more consistent now vs dropping out every so often unexpectedly?

I have encountered the unexpected Drive Assist (formerly Highway Assist) disengagement on 2.6. I am not sure if there are improvements in drive assist since it has only happened once since updating to 2.6.

I did a longer test and changed the bass settings etc and it is sounding pretty good now. Still not sure if there is any difference but I am happy with the overall sound (not being an audiophile).

Thanks! Looking forward to see if it makes any difference, especially with bass buzzing.

- Will I get notified on mobile app regarding the update: I am currently on 2.5.4
- Do I need to do anything (on app or in car) or will the update just happen? (car in garage in RI, I am in Upstate NY for a few weeks)
- Assume don't need wifi, as update will happen on cellular?

Update 2.6 does not include a fix for the soft-close door issue. The team is working on a fix for this. I will share more information once it becomes available.

if possible, can you please comment on whether any updates to the TCU are forthcoming for either more stability or customer service remote reboot. Got my '25 AT in Dec on 2.5.4 and it's been losing internet at least 2x / week. I reset it with the cable pull and all's good until the next time. If you aren't able to comment, I understand and will contact customer service this week anyway (my 2 calls for remote service from KOP were never returned). TIA and thank you for being here.

yes android also and my app is the same, so would expect to see surface controls when we get the new android app on our phones. I'd much rather they spent the time on that new app than retrofitting the feature into the end of life existing app. So, hopefully soon(ish)!

Control of seat and steering shell heat/cool from the app!

I am big fan of this because you can easily do some default interior pre-conditioning. It sets the seat heaters to the middle (no 2) setting.

You will get a notifcation on phone or in car. You need to initiate the update from phone or car.

Yes. Your notification will be a round dot next to the “settings” icon at the bottom of the lower screen.
You will then need to accept the update and start it.
It will happen over cellular but WiFi connau be faster depending on where you are.
