I'm a 2-4 week guy, but I have a loaner right now and it prompted me for the update this MORNING.

Disregard, it says the update was to 2.5.0, even though it was already on that version. Very strange. I thought it was a typo in the version tagging, but sure enough, the update completed overnight and it's still on 2.5.0.

My update notice arrived last night. I started it, and it failed within the first few minutes. Car was at about 60% SoC and plugged into my home charger in my garage. The UI indicates a failed update, and will not allow me to try it again, and suggests I wait for a further update or call customer care.

Any one else experience this? If so, any resolutions yet?

I called customer care this morning and am awaiting a call back.

Customer Care put in some kind of case update / ticket to have the software pushed again. They estimated it might not happen until the weekend is over.

Took the car out for a drive this morning, and everything still seems to be functioning correctly.

I had this happen on the last update. Didn’t even bother calling Customer Care and 2 days later the update showed up again. Installed with no issues 2nd time round.

Bummer.

I did a longer test and changed the bass settings etc and it is sounding pretty good now. Still not sure if there is any difference but I am happy with the overall sound (not being an audiophile).

I like the name change to “Drive Assist” as it seems to imply future functionality away from designated highways. I know there are “I don’t trust ADAS and I will only drive myself” folks on here and that’s ok. I personally would like to see some of the HA (DA now) functionality move to surface streets. I know it’s not on Lucid’s roadmap and not promised. And it’s ok if it doesn’t come. I just think the name change seems to tip that it might (*might*) be something that is being considered.

You think? I don't unless something is misbehaving. The bass in the rear seats while set at -2 or -3, sounds good in front, is basically deafening/drowning in the rear seats. I'm OK with bass, have had stupid overpowering subwoofers in enclosures in the past. I'd argue it was objectively bad.

Maybe inconsistency between cars? I heard other people report similar, but certainly not everyone. Pretty sure if you sat in mine you'd not find it subjective though.

I don't agree with this. Prior to 2.5.0, I hought SSPRO sounded amazing. 2.6.0 is just an enhancement to my ears.

As in 2.6 doesn’t sound as good as pre 2.5.0?

What about "waking up vehicle" issue?
My wife's new car and the Sapphire, no problem.
But my daily driver GT-P takes about 8 to 10 times (no joke) to work.

Well, this is my first update since owning my 2022 Air GT-P. I was and still am super excited. Here is what I have noticed so far.

1. Loving the twilight and turn signal animations on the car in dash.

2. Maybe I did not notice before, but the left and right turn camera view seems curved kind of like the shape of a side mirror. Maybe it was like this before.

3. Maybe this is not the case, but the left and right turn camera view image seems crisper. Anyone else thinking this?

4. The audio sounds MUCH better! I am using Spotify (not Tidal). I noticed a huge improvement from 2.5.

5. I like the left/right turn signal sounds coming from their respective sides.

6. I have confirmed the bug with curb rash is fixed. Now when I go into my garage the screen shows the front and top view of the car always. It also did this through the car wash today (cool to see).

7. Was this here before? I said “hey lucid, play Taylor Swift on Spotify.” And it played. I thought I tried that in the past and it never worked.


BUGS!!!

My screen is very laggy now. When I went to close my garage, there was about a 4 second delay. I did the X Mic reboot. That did not solve. Of course, I am sure Lucid can fix this. However, the screen went from very responsive to embarrassingly slow. . If I click an icon, say music, there is a 2 second or more delay to get there.

My thought is Lucid has a major update they are working on. As, there was some sort of invite to Lucid owners around November where they were shown some software update and had to sign an NDA. I’m guessing Lucid released a few features in this update to address some of the concerns customers were complaining with the most (audio and curb rash bug).

Crossing my fingers Lucid is looking into the major lag this update has caused. Anyone else getting this?

Wouldn’t be surprised if you need to wait for the new App version to be released.

Put on wish list. I logged IN/OUT, deleted app reinstalled, deleted profile and phone & reinstalled, Bobby Reset, Air Reset. No dice, I assume all who did receive are Apple and the Android will receive.....with AA?

Not sure the OTA is only going to those with Apple devices but those features will only show up in the iOS App for now. Lucid has said that a new Android app is coming soon which I suspect is when you’ll be able to use those features.
