Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

Took delivery of metal roof touring. Saw white one and fathom blue Pure at Riviera Beach too. My car was ordered without DDP or SSP and purchase price reflected that. Sticker showed car has both. Hopefully they forget to disable it after 90 days!!!

Key was all scratched up, spare keys are worse and dont work. Support advises I get new batteries.

These must be extra special batteries if they can remove scratches from the key fob!

I have to admit, I love my glass roof, but I am looking forward to seeing some of these metal roof cars. They did an excellent job on the implementation.

Finally got The Call. We pick up our Zenith Red AT at the Seattle studio on Thursday, April 6. “Stoked” doesn’t come close to describing the feeling. It’ll be a 200 mile drive home from there, so a nice opportunity to get in tune with the car.

Umm.. no... My keyfob does not have a single blemish or hint of use on it.. it's completely brand new and smelled of it too.. not normal... Ask for a new keybox...

Both key fobs were replaced by mobile service today. A few trim replacement parts were ordered, but the car will need to be taken in for an alignment problem. I was impressed with the service.
Besides the fact that I still believe some exterior parts/trims are 'cheaply' made the car feels and drives great! Charging has been wonderful at EA too. I ran it down to 60miles remaining and charged to 344miles in 40 minutes.

If Lucid wants to cut corners to save money on parts that otherwise feel or look expensive and don't rattle, shake, of cause issues. I'm okay with this because they need to cut costs to stay afloat to get their prices down.

So if they're cutting costs without it being noticeable from a quality and materials standpoint. I'm totally okay with this

What's going for Lucid is the drive/tech, look and feel. Most of us will overlook the 'cheap' trim/plastic on the exterior. I believe they can do better but like you say, maybe at extra cost or production delay.
I really hope the gravity is better as it should be.
