Umm.. no... My keyfob does not have a single blemish or hint of use on it.. it's completely brand new and smelled of it too.. not normal... Ask for a new keybox...
WOW--talk about patent leather..!Ok guys! Just got Touring back from getting full body PPF, Ceramic coat, Tints, and Chrome delete and have to say looks Amazing. Getting tons of head turns, especially when parked! Delivery was smooth and DA explained everything about the car to me within one hour! Picked up at Short Hills NJ location! I'm curious, what is the production date on vehicles delivered I'm March 2023Openball, I'd make an appointment asap to correct these issues because they are definitely not normal and look pretty bad. I wonder when your car was built as it may have been an early Touring build (late 2022) when quality control wasn't as good and pdi was done at the service centers. What is the date of manufacture on the plaque inside the drivers door opening?
I picked up my Touring yesterday, it was built in Jan 2023. I had posted my delivery experience yesterday if you want to read it. In short, paint had few scratches and swirl marks all around the car and the black panel trim that runs below the windshield was loose. It was written in the due bill that we signed and was told someone will reach out .I'm curious, what is the production date on vehicles delivered I'm March 2023
If you have wrote down all those defects down on the due bill, the service department will resolve those defects in coming weeks.I picked up my Touring yesterday, it was built in Jan 2023. The rear window doesn't go all the way down like the front windows, same as yours. May be others can chime in if that is the correct operation.
I picked up my Touring on Friday. I also noticed the fine redish brown in the back passenger windows and questioned it. The DA played it off as normal and had someone wipe it down again. I also had a few chip marks on the hood (used touch-up paint for one of the chip) and a cracked truck hook liner which they replaced the whole piece. Two places had the trim loose. One spot was rear view back part loose and then rear left door upper trim not fully flush like the right side. There were still some bounding and stickum in some spots which I had cleaned. The glass roof did have dust on it still. Also I was suppose to get the car last weekend but because of a crack in the roof glass and roof misalignment my delivery had been pushed to this past Friday. I did miss one interior misalignment but I can live with it.I picked up my Touring yesterday, it was built in Jan 2023. I had posted my delivery experience yesterday if you want to read it. Oh my back windows don't fully go down either and I did ask. The DA said it was normal.I picked up my Touring on Friday. That is reassuring. Thanks.Oh my back windows don't fully go down either and I did ask. The DA said it was normal.
I had quite a bit of sand on my car too at delivery especially in the windshield wiper wells and the air intake vents on the frunk. The cars are built in the Arizona dessert so it's not completely unreasonable to have sand in the window wells too. I took mine to get a good professional washing. That resolved all of the sand issues.I have been lurking on this forum for past 2 months and learnt quite a bit from all your experience. I registered today to share my experience and have a question that someone can chime in.
We picked up our Touring (ZR, Tahoe, 20" wheels with glass canopy) this morning at Costa Mesa. It was delivered by Peter who was there today, it was nice to meet him in person and spend time with him. Overall the delivery experience was good except for the below items :-
1. Black panel that at the bottom of the windshield was coming off on the right side and the black panel at the bottom of the door was falling off as well.
2. There were several swirl marks and 4 scratches in the car. I can tell someone used dirty mittens to wash the car. Unlike the German car dealerships who detail the car on delivery, Lucid just washed it as I could see fine sand all over the window and door trims. I roll the window down and it came back up fully covered in sand. I'm told someone from CS will call me to advise next steps.
As others mentioned, it was ride home was fantastic and truly a driver's car.
I hear a ringing sound in the car when parked. I cant quite figure out where it is coming from. Anyone else experience this as it is kind of bothering me.
Have a good weekend all!
Correct.Oh my back windows don't fully go down either and I did ask. The DA said it was normal.
That’s normal. Those two boxes are specifically to prevent blinding oncoming drivers. As you drive it more, you’ll stop noticing them at all.I just took the car out first time in the night this evening and see two dark spots/shadows being projected on the road 10 ft away may be from the headlights. I thought there was some foam stuck somewhere in the head lights, so I stopped and checked but didnt find any. Tried high beam and it was still there.. Anyone else? What is it as it is no distracting..
Yes, lol - contact customer care and they will mail you a copy of the correct Monroney label (the right name for “window sticker,” in case they need you to say the right buzzword)Oh, also found the window sticker in the glove box and see the MSRP for the fully loaded Touring with DDP and SSP that I didnt purchase.. Shouldnt the window sticker show the configuration that we purchased and the pricing for that?
Same with me....lists DDP which I didn't spec (and didn't pay for). I assume they'll shut is down in 90 days.Oh, also found the window sticker in the glove box and see the MSRP for the fully loaded Touring with DDP and SSP that I didnt purchase.. Lol for a moment I thought lucid gave me a 128K car and I felt lucky for onceSame with me....lists DDP which I didn't spec (and didn't pay for). I assume they'll shut is down in 90 days.
All of the sticker pricing is post-increase too.
Well Exactly! But real luck will be if they forget to turn off DDP (shhhhhh...)Lol for a moment I thought lucid gave me a 128K car and I felt lucky for once
The chip isn't normal. The mounting spots are "supposed" to come out when I asked the head of the inspection team, so they may have chipped that spot putting those in.I've reached out to customer service. Thanks for all the input and I'm glad to know these are minor issues.
The car drives well, I had a problem were the top screen stopped working but a tip from CS to switch profiles fixed it.
Tried charging at EA and it was smooth. Got 64amps on a 150amp charger filled from 65% to 80% in 15mins - I didn't remember to precondition.
Is this 'chip' on the glass roof normal? It doesn't bother me but since they are coming I can point it out and not let it be played off as normal. It is right abo e the driver door.
