Take a look at Quantum Grey reservations and you will see that because of harmonization problems no VINS were issued for that color until Apr this year.
I think you are missing the point.
I reserved my car on September 9, 2020.
You reserved your car on October 13, 2021.
Why did you get to confirm your car 23 days ahead of me? Paint/interior color can't be a factor because they aren't decided until you confirm your order.
I have also advised my DA that I can pick up the car anywhere in the country, so that shouldn't be a factor. As a customer/shareholder, I'm less than satisfied with the level of transparency and customer service provided up to this point.
 
Apparently there is no consistency in order priority?
I placed my $1000 deposit way back on September 9, 2020.
I wasn't invited to convert my reservation to an order until March 24th, 2022 (which I did immediately)
Still no VIN.
Maybe because I live in Kentucky...not a hotspot for electric vehicles. A little puzzling that the Lucid board decided to give out performance bonuses for reaching production milestones.
That sounds weird.. You reserved a GT then, correct? And not a Touring which you subsequently upgraded to? They were sending out invites to confirm GT reservations in batches based on reservation date. Based on reserving in 9/2020, you ‘should‘ have received an invite to confirm way back in November, either in the 11/2 or 11/16 batch. I don’t think location had anything to do with confirmation email timing. Perhaps went to spam filter then and they followed up with you in March since you had not replied?

The production batch order used confirmation date along with color, interior, delivery location, etc.

If you didn’t change your specs, also interior color wood trims is also a factor. Certain interior combination is short supply. The supply fluctuates during production. I got my Tahoe, I was encouraged Santa Cruz early on but declined.
 
A little peeved. Due to all teh delays on my car, my financing rate has gone up almost 0.50%
 
Five months to the day when I confirmed my order and was given an estimate of 3-4 months delivery. Seems like there are people in the 8-9 month range now, but what can you do?

I hope the extra time to delivery means a higher quality product in the end.
 
I was just informed that my car( red GT, 19 inch wheels, Santa Cruz interior, VIN May 26) has completed production in Arizona and will be heading to Seattle for its final inspection.
I guess that is good news. It will be interesting to see how long it takes from here, as I wasn’t given an estimate ( I understand there are too many variables for the DAs to give estimates) . I keep pushing my expectations back a bit , but if I get it by September first I will be titillated.
 
No Zenith Red VINs since June 16. The tracker had had little to track lately. Can't wait for the spin on production guidance tomorrow.

If I reserved in September 2020 and still hadn't heard anything, I would be calling their customer support every day until I got a firm answer. I'd even say you deserve a direct communication from someone at a Director level, or higher. That's insane... I'm sorry to hear.

Not possible. VIN was assigned. Earlier this year they were 3 weeks delivery from VIN.

It is also convenient that you are close to the factory.
 
Picture courtesy of @Pwmac from this morning. We did a quick flyover this morning to look for his car. I believe that we may have found it.

It does not look like any cars shipped out over the weekend since the Bear's photos. Also not many employees working on a Sunday morning. The employee lot was fairly empty.

i was told today my car is now at Riviera Beach and in line for final inspection and scheduling for pick up, and that they will want their money soon. Light at the end of the tunnel!
 
I'll say this, when they do start ramping up deliveries beyond what they're doing now, I do wonder where they'll put all of the cars. If the Scottsdale SC is any indication, they'll have a different problem. When I was there a couple weeks ago, they had 9 cars I think parked inside awaiting pick up. They had another 2-3 outside. It's not a big service center, so I'd think 15-20 awaiting pick up or going through final inspection would be the max (a guess and nothing I was told). From a Lucid standpoint, it's a bit out of there hands because you're at the mercy of scheduling with the new owners. So if you do about 2-3 pickups a day and you start receiving 5-10 cars a day (since it is Scottsdale, it's not a long trip) where do you put all of the cars. Hell, in looking at the parking lot in Casa Grande, it seems like they better have a new one getting started as the current one is getting full.

Now, I'm in no way saying that this demonstrates a huge number of cars rolling off the production line. More to the point, when they do get up to a fuller production schedule, where do they all go - especially at the service centers?

I would thunk ... that will be a good problem to have. Maybe a holding lot? A dedicated covered car park lot?

It would be nice to see that problem posted here, as opposed to "where is my car?"

Remember they bought 2 more parcels of land adjacent to the factory so giant parking lots in the making.
 
FYI - reached out to my DA on return from 2 week vacation to South Africa. Here was his response:

Hi Bill,

Thank you for reaching out.

I have not heard anything regarding that. Vehicles are still being completed out of the factory with 21 – inch wheels with the summer tires.


I am hoping to hear movement on your vehicle very soon. Once I get the VIN notification I will reach out with an update.

Good to hear 21s not holding up production.
