October OTA Updates

I had to re-pair my phone after this, soo I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt and could also still be an iOS 16 Bluetooth issue
It could definitely be IOS 16. However, my mobile key started dropping before I received my new IPhone with IOS 16. I didn’t upgrade to 16 with my old phone.

Have you noticed any bug fixes?
Not yet, I’m not home today. Remote installed. I can’t wait tomorrow like a little boy.

Bug: I can’t seem to open/close my trunk using the pilot panel any more. It will open/close when pushing the physical trunk button.

.19 fixed my f/trunk open issue, I can operate them from the pilot screen now.
.19 seatbelt alert is softer, less obnoxious
other than that, I don't notice any difference

While I can open and close the trunk without any problem, I can't open the frunk from inside the car, the fob or the app. Leaving for LA on Wednesday morning!

BOOM!
Finally!

I thought the better reboot technique is to use the valet card, walk away and then return in 10 minutes or so. Hmmmm?
CS told me 15 minutes, they didn't specify using the card.

BOOM!
Finally!
But it failed to load, no longer on the update screen. It now says I'm "up to date" with the previous version. Bummer.
I should have noticed the "Estimated Update Time". Five minutes isn't right. I was told it would take about an hour.
I knew what I was signing up for when I placed my order. I bought the car for the drive, not the gizmos.

My car updated to v2.0.13 as well, took about 5 minutes. I checked in the car and it does in fact say "2.0.13" with the usual update notes of "making the OTA experience better." No actual 2.0 functionality tho.

Actually, another forum member noted you only have to walk away until the blinker stops. I have needed to do multiple reboots every day, and it typically is done within about a minute or two.

Same. mine says version 1.2.21 though. Texting with CS the other night about my frozen Nav, when a reset didn't work they said they would send me the 2.X update. What followed was a confused string of text conversations with apparently different people each time. It seems none of them could see the text thread. With each person we were starting the conversation from Zero.

Just had this issue updating to 2.0.19, if the update doesn't install properly. Ask for a push again, then before you install it, once you get the notification, unlock your car, open the door, lock the doors then wait 30 minutes before initiating the update.

THX. will try

Am I the only one of the 2.0 testers that doesn’t have 2.0.13 or 2.0.19?
