Email customer care - you can find info in the app and hit email. To whom and how do I report? I definitely will.
Also, is anyone seeing the the Home Screen with “real-time 3D model” of their vehicle? I do not…
Not yet, but they will be.I am also confused about the “tiles”. They do not seem to be re-arrangeable. Are they? Or are they just less space efficient UI?
At present, you can rearrange the lock/other icons. Also, the notes say we can customize. The only customization i can find is changing the nickname and adding a license number. Am i missIng something?
Is this reproducible? If so, what were the circumstances under which you experienced it?I was also able to reproduce this just now at the airport; it crashed repeatedly until I rebooted. I will also report it, and I’m certain @mcr16 is tracking this thread too.
At some point, after running the app in the background all day, it just started crashing. I did allow for a crash log to be sent, so the engineers should be able to pull it from Apple. Is this reproducible? If so, what were the circumstances under which you experienced it?
Agreed! IMHO it’s a major step forward and I can already foresee the flexibility to operationalize a LOT more features in this platform than the prior version. My only gripe is the crashing issue I’ve reported here and also shared directly with @mcr16 and I am sure that’s likely an easy patch / fix.Can I just say? The app is fucking beautiful.
Never have I wanted to email Lucid with only good feedback.
Apparently we have a ton of app developers on this forum. My background is in the app world and wow, nice nice nice.
Happy new year!
...hmm... Not having any issues since installing this morning and loving and appreciative of this new app update!!At some point, after running the app in the background all day, it just started crashing. I did allow for a crash log to be sent, so the engineers should be able to pull it from Apple.
Once it begins crashing, it does not stop, and the only resolution appeared to be to restart the phone, at which point it worked fine. If it happens again I’m happy to do some more investigation (but not at the airport, heh).
Shared a crash report with you from my device. Otherwise ... update is super welcome - nothing empirical but impressions are snappier UI, more responsive commands. Looking forward to the accompanying car update to support some of the surface heating features given we're in the depths of winter in the northeastIs this reproducible? If so, what were the circumstances under which you experienced it?
I have seen this three times and as others have said, it requires rebooting the phone to get it to work again. Is this reproducible? If so, what were the circumstances under which you experienced it?
I was thinking the same! I liked being able to move the car around. That was a one up on the Tesla mobile app.Not sure why there’s an option for me to upgrade to DD Pro and SS Pro when my car is already equipped with those? Also, I miss being able to rotate and play around with my Air’s 3D model when I’m bored at work, to admired how beautiful it is when I’m not next to it. That’s gone! Anyway I hope these changes are worth it in the long run when they release more features for the car.
Mine is working fineSuddenly the app won’t wake up the car at all
It worked for me 3 or 4 times then stopped
Anyone having same issue ?
Weird, I haven’t seen that at all. Are you on 18.2? Have you tried to completely delete the app (not just remove it from the home screen) and download a fresh copy from the app store?Mine worked fine for 18 hours. Came back from a drive just now and the App crashed as soon as I tried to look at how the car was charging. Restarted my iPhone and the App was fine after restart. The App has now crashed 6 times in two days and each time the only fix was a phone restart.
It is a bug. Happened to me too, though not 6 times - just once.Weird, I haven’t seen that at all. Are you on 18.2? Have you tried to completely delete the app (not just remove it from the home screen) and download a fresh copy from the app store?
Yup. Did that twice...Weird, I haven’t seen that at all. Are you on 18.2? Have you tried to completely delete the app (not just remove it from the home screen) and download a fresh copy from the app store?
Hope I am not giving myself the kiss of death, but my car has been absolutely flawless. This crashing issue with the 2.0 mobile app is the only hiccup I've had with anything, so I guess it's only fitting that I'd have a bunch of crashes. Yes @Bobby, I am running iOS 18.2...It is a bug. Heh, I hear ya. I suspect it’s just a one-off bug you’re running into more frequently than others. Please do send the crash reports to them; I’ll do the same.Hope I am not giving myself the kiss of death, but my car has been absolutely flawless.
