Guessing this has a bunch to do with Gravity’s imminent deliveries

The additional tiles in the App Store show controls for heated and ventilated seats as well as steering wheel. I have those options available in the car. However, they are not available in app yet it would seem.

The Android app is going to get much better too; my guess is that they are taking longer with that one because they are likely getting rid of Flutter and rewriting it natively, just like they did with the iOS app in the previous iteration. That was a huge win for the iOS app, and it will likely be a similarly huge win for the Android app.

But that means two codebases, two different beasts, etc. It will be worth it in the end though.

Flutter sucks.

Plug and charge service or status now showing Inactive. Is this same for all?

It doesn't show your car graphics, when it's plugged in. Maybe I want to see if the doors or trunks are open?

Well this is annoying. They added almost all the anti patterns in the industry to the Home Screen…

You now have to scroll for content and they did the widget crap.

It may have a nice shiny new look but it’s certainly worse in almost every way…

That non system tab bar is also annoying as heck. Some noobie designer clearly came in and just went ham with no throttle or grounding.

Send that as feedback!
Could be I'm running iOS 18.3 Beta.

But honestly, I am tired of reporting bugs. Last time I reported a "major bug" (auto lights coming on in the daytime when car faced a certain way), they even sent service out to replace the light/rain sensor. Finally they confirmed it was a software problem and it was fixed weeks late. I still have problems with the rain sensor where it will wipe when it's dry and it's on auto-low. I leave it off. They probably think they have error free software & hardware running in my car, but I'm just tired of reporting problems.

I think it is fine it is just new redesign and perhaps a new better foundation to start fresh

I bit they cleaned up all trash codes and fine tuned it for the next wave of features

New coming days will tell

It is very early to judge about robustness 🤣

Same. I’m hoping it requires a software update in the vehicle to enable vs being unavailable for me.

Same doesn’t show a picture of a car for me either. I’m on 18.2.

Not sure why there’s an option for me to upgrade to DD Pro and SS Pro when my car is already equipped with those? Also, I miss being able to rotate and play around with my Air’s 3D model when I’m bored at work, to admired how beautiful it is when I’m not next to it. That’s gone! Anyway I hope these changes are worth it in the long run when they release more features for the car.

Anybody else see the steering wheel and heated/cooled seat options in the app ? Or do they appear when you switch on climate ?

If you read the new app update’s release notes, Lucid did mentioned it will “Requires compatible vehicle software” for it to work. Meaning a new software update for the car in the future should enable that feature for the mobile app.
