RESOLVED Cannot log into Lucid iOS mobile app

The Lucid mobile app has been unreliable since the 2.5.0 update for me. The 2.4 update made the app connect incredibly quickly (generally within 10 seconds) and wake up my car. 2.5 often did not connect and was stuck on the "waking up" sign, but if I force closed the app and re-opened, it would usually work.

Today around 5pm CST, I noticed the app would not connect at all. I mean it wouldn't even try to wake up the car for whatever reason. There were no changes to the car or the app or my phone that would have caused this (it worked just fine earlier today). After restarting the app and my phone (and logo resetting my car), I had the bright idea of deleting the app in hopes of reinstalling it.

Well, now that I've reinstalled the app, I simply cannot get past the login screen. If I try logging in, it spins and then nothing happens. It just asks me to log in again.

Is there something odd going on with Lucid servers? I'm able to log into the member portal on their website, but not the app. Without being able to log into my app, I can no longer use the mobile bluetooth key for my car, which is a real bummer.

I had the same issue at about the same time. It’s been perfect up until today. I wonder if Lucid had an issue.
 
Is yours working now? I wish I didn't delete the app, as I cannot log back in now. Hopefully this is a temporary issue and I can log back in later. It's really odd since I'm perfectly able to log into the lucid website on both PC and mobile.
 
I am having the same issue between now and then ...after a while it will work for me ... i am not seeing as big deal ...of course more robustness is always welcome :)
 
I downloaded the new app, but all I get is the demo that was sent as an email. There is no way to login. I thought that the problem might be solved by deleting the current app. That didn't help. Anyone have any ideas?

That’s odd, there’s no way to login? In most cases the app immediately presents a login screen one. Can you send a screenshot of what you are seeing?
 
Problem resolved itself. I returned to the app after a few hours, and I was logged in and all the details regarding my car were there. One of those electronic glitches that we will never fully understand.
 
I'm having issues with the Lucid mobile app once again. It looks like it updated on 1/24 though I don't think I had any issues til today. I normally have to close the app a couple times before my care finally wakes up, but this morning nothing I did could wake up the car in my mobile app, even if I restarted my phone. The really odd part is that even after I got in my car and drove it around this morning, when I opened the app it STILL wouldn't see my Lucid as awake. I'm not sure if I've noticed that happen before.

Is anyone else having issues with the Lucid mobile app waking their car up?
 
Yes was fine yesterday but not working this morning.
Tried restarting the phone and soft resetting the car but problem persists.
I suspect a problem in Lucid cloud services…
 
Thanks, good to know it wasn't just me.
Check your app now - it seems their issues have been resolved as I was able to wake up my car pretty quickly just now. Hopefully that was just a temporary blip!
 
Thanks for the heads up on it working again, I just checked and can confirm it’s back.
Quick question: have you had any issues getting the app to wake the car while the car is connected to home wifi? It doesn’t seem to work for me, at least come morning time. So I end up leaving WiFi turned off in the car…

Hm, it may just be placebo but I disconnected my car from wifi a few months ago when I first started having app problems. I never bothered turning it back on since I still get OTA updates just fine. I could try connecting to wifi again later and seeing if I can still consistently wake my car from sleep via app.
 
Well, the last couple days I've had issues waking up my car from my app again. I'm not sure if it's really a server issue as it happens pretty consistently now. I tried changing my car to use wifi and not, but that doesn't seem to help. Pretty frustrating as it tends to work consistently for a while before breaking. Anyone else having issues?

I have been having the same issues since I purchased my car in November. It's hit or miss, good days and bad when it comes with connecting through the App. There are also many other connectivity issues that Lucid is dealing with including network connections, audio connections and sound system issues. I spoke to the service team and supposedly there is an update due out "soon" to fix the issues, but they wouldn't commit to a date,
 
I've been able to wake up my car a bit more consistently throughout the day by disconnecting the car from wifi. I'm still not sure why this causes issues, and it's not consistent, but it worked today. I turned it on briefly just to test a previous commenter's question.

I do sometimes have to do a song and dance where I close my Lucid app while it's trying to wake it up then re-open it, which seems to work better.
