New Bugs Thread as of April 9, 2023

BUG:
Has anyone encounter this problem: I use an Android phone. When I receive a text message and I hit the "PLAY" button, the music (in this case, Spotify) does not mute. As a result, you can't really hear the message being read. I don't know if this is anAndroid phone problem or does it also affects iPhones as well. As mentioned by other woners, the phone audio (through the Lucid infotainment system) is pretty awlful (sub-pr when compared to other cars)!

Note: Hollywood Blvd and Highland in Hollywood, CA, has an issue with CarPlay or Bluetooth saturation. Every time I drive through there, my CarPlay drops.

This might not be the place to post but figured it would be good for alerting those thinking it’s a bug.

Bug: Siri commands to open frunk or trunk time out and fail if the car is sleeping.

Bug: Highway Assist randomly drops out and reverts to ACC. HA will revert to ACC and display HA not available in this area on highways where I have used HA multiple times before. HA usually shows available about 30 seconds lates.

Bug: Hand-off from WiFi to Cellular takes too long. When leaving home WiFi, the hand-off to cellular takes 30 seconds to 1 minute and connected services like Alexa or streaming music are not available.

Bug: inconsistent behavior of HA when signaling to allow lane change

Mine is not inconsistent since it never releases steering no matter how long the blinker is on. Mine does seem inconsistent compared to what others report about their cars.

We should be careful what we label bugs and what features are intended until they continue to develop it more. Sometimes implementing an entire feature isn't feasible so taking steps until the final feature is complete is the intended result.

Just a quick example of this is the fact that ACC doesn't see stopped vehicles.

Mainly putting this here ad a reminder because a lot of people are quick to jump on bugs but don't know the context or background.

Lucid monitors this forum. I'm not quite sure if this is the best way to talk to the software team, though. What I would like to do with this thread is establish a list of known bugs as of today's date. Please be sure to only post and describe bugs you yourself are experiencing as opposed to ones you have heard about or read about. As time goes on, I will make a new Mega Poll for bugs and report back to Lucid. Please try to format your posts similar to the one that I have placed below to make it easier for me to construct the poll later.
Hi, @Bobby.

Thanks for kicking this off. I look forward to seeing the results of your poll, which I will be sure to share internally.

had a weird bug yesterday... got home after 2 ½ hour trip. everything was going well, BUT the rear passenger door wouldn't open from the outside. had to go inside and "force" the handle open to make it work... now, no problems.

That is a HW issue with the door handle mechanism... I would call service.

BUG: Tidal doesn't continue playing from the same playlist when re-entering car
For instance, I am on track 4 of a dolby atmos playlist when I leave the car to go into a store. When I return, the same song plays (but from the beginning rather than from where I left off) but the next song and subsequent songs are not from the dolby atmos playlist anymore. I don't actually know where they are from but I assume Tidal chooses songs similar to what was just playing, which is no longer dolby atmos. I'm not sure if this has to do with poor internet reception "cancelling" the playlist?

It's the way Tidal currently works.

Tidal supplies the app to Lucid, and they choose the behavior.

BUG: Internet Connectivity on the road is intermittent (Manifests via Alexa. Alexa doesn't work and she indicates no internet. This happens a lot)
Just to add...yes this occurs when the car has 4 vertical bars of mobile/cell service

Can you clarify how you are playing text messages thru your Lucid? To my knowledge Android Auto is not yet available. Are you playing your text messages via Bluetooth pairing to your Lucid, by way of tapping your phone?

I found that before CarPlay, the car would occasionally tell me when I got a text and offer me to play it. I was unable to respond except for some premade responses.

Bug: car will display " Mobile key not detected" when mobile key is clearly in the car
I walked out to my car yesterday with the mobile key fob in my pants pocket and as I got near the car the mirrors pushed out and the door handles raised as they always have and then, a couple gentlemen walked over to inquire about my car. While standing at the back of the car talking the mirrors and door handles reversed and stayed that way, they never did respond again. Thankfully after a view minutes I tried the double push on the fob and everything opened up. I've not since had any reoccurrence of this issue.

I was at my detailer's place when the car was literally dancing every 10 seconds with lock and unlock. Quite embarrassing.

I had the key fob.

Bug: scheduled charging is still inconsistent. Plugged in yesterday and it did not charge overnight as it was supposed to. Unlike the other two times it happened, this time the car was on my profile and not my wife’s.

Your charger is set to always charge when plugged in right? I only noticed problems when a miscommunication happened, for example my charger was set to TOU charging only after 8 pm but my car scheduled charging was at 7 pm, so it was missed.

Just an example. Also you could put the charging time in the Lucid to 5 minutes from now.
Lock it, walk away, disable Bluetooth and all that to make sure. Then watch to see if it wakes itself up at that time. I did a lot of testing to ensure it worked the first time
