Apologies if this is a dumb question so please be nice. I am planning leasing for the first time and this is my first Lucid. I have done some on-line research and have talked to an associate on the phone about leasing.
Question: When you "build" a new Lucid online (looking at Touring), is there really any wiggle room on reducing the costs or getting a better deal from one Lucid dealership to the next? My guess is that you get what you get if you want a customized car. Am I right in thinking there may some haggling possible, but that is only on the cars on the lots? My other question is: Do the current lease deals available for the Touring look good right at this time? I am wondering if there are better lease deals in the winter or in a few months in the spring time...or...is this the best it gets for this car? I heard there were some good deals last April.
Last question: Financially, is it usually better to do a longer lease as long as you love the car? ie should I choose the shorter or longer lease interval if only based on costs.
THANKS

I cannot speak to any incentives at this time, but there is zero haggling, negotiating, etc. the prices are what the prices are and any incentives are universal for all customers and buying situations. They generally DO give an incentive for cars they have available at studios…good luck and congrats! They are great cars!!

No haggling. You would get substantial discounts for onsite vehicle (aka inventory), but everyone can get those, not just you. Talk to a Lucid rep locally.

There’s no negotiating. Those are technically not dealerships. Lucid is selling these cars directly.

I just leased one last week.
I had been eyeing on a lease since February and finally pulled the trigger 2 weeks ago. While the February incentives and March incentives look the same, the interest rates between the leases vary slightly, or so the Lucid sales rep told me.

For instance, I was looking at a Touring with a MSRP of $84400 in February. The monthly payment of the 18-month lease was lower than a 36-month lease in February. The monthly payment of a 24-month lease is more than $200 higher than either one. However, I was not ready to commit until early March. Now the monthly payment for the 36-month is lower than the 18-month.

I still got a good deal for a 18-month lease but I would’ve paid less interest if I could pull the trigger last month, even the same incentives are being advertised for February and March.

I guess if you feel the deals are good now, just pull the trigger. Lucid probably won’t do much on the advertised incentives but they might play some number games on the interest rates. Especially a lot of people are trying to switch from Tesla.

I opted for a car that was already on site so I could get another $2000 off.

All comments above...I concur. I started my inquiries for a lease in late February and pulled the trigger last week. (Picked up last weekend!). Yes...no haggling, but you'll generally do better if you choose a car that's "available" (onsite near you), which yields an onsite discount of a couple thousand. I ultimately picked what was most important to me (color, 19" wheels for the lower road noise and higher range) and chose an onsite car that had the glass canopy (I preferred aluminum) and the upgraded stereo. That yielded onsite savings. Also...the money factor (interest) I was offered was very low. The car was also available faster as an onsite. Discounts I took advantage of totaled about $20K (including the Fed rebate). Ultimately, I'm paying hundreds less per month for my AIR than I would have paid to upgrade my '19 Audi A6 to a '25 Audi on a new lease. (And the Lucid listed for far more.). I think it's an incredible deal right now. Good luck with your search!

New here, but this is basically the same story for me. I have been looking at Lucid for the last month or so (test drove one + about 4 other EV's). I finally pulled the trigger and since they had a model on-site that was essentially exactly what i would have ordered anyway I got 20k off MSRP via leasing. Money factor seemed almost absurdly low but all the lease documents confirm it is only .00007 (which equates to basically 0.17%, basically free). In a car this expensive that low of a money factor is probably equivalent to ~3-5k off, depending on what trim level and options you want.

So effectively if they have something on-site ("on-site" seems to also include vehicles in transit and can be delivered by March 31st) the available incentives are crazy good. There is no negotiation really. That being said 2 of the incentives are conditional. There is a conquest credit that is only available if you own a "competitor" vehicle. It seems to include most luxury brands as well as tesla. I was able to get it because my weekend toy is a 2001 BMW Z3, so they don't seem super strict about it. The other conditional incentive was a referral credit. Since I ordered a touring model the credit was $1000. A pure would get a credit of $750 and a GT would get a credit of $1250. I got the code from a fellow poster on a different car forum that bought one last year, but my guess is most folks would be willing to get you one.

Thanks for your reply and it is helpful. I have not been able to find what I want in the Midwest so I will probably need to build my model. One question, however, were they able to add the Pro audio to your car? I want that for sure

Thanks so much. I am excited but there are no showrooms around here so I will need to travel to actually drive one.

I did get mine with Pro audio. I found one that was onsite however.
