Lucid is a Lemon?

I think many have experienced much worse problems than the ones you describe. The car isn’t a lemon based on what you have described.
There are many definitions of an automobile "lemon". The most important, because it has legal consequences, is the definition in a given state's lemon law statute (assuming there is one). The statutory definition may be different from the one we use in ordinary parlance.

I did go through a quasi lemon law process about 7 years ago with BMW. I say "quasi" because BMW agreed to buyback the car before I went through the statutory lemon law process. I worked closely with the service manager who got BMW to agree. Unfortunately, for the OP, there is no service manager with whom the OP can build a relationship.

I don't know where the OP lives and if there is a service facility in that location. If there is, a trip to the service center to speak with the manager might be more efficacious than asking to speak to lawyers. Friendly complaints, such as "I love the car but" will get a better response than "this car is a POS".

BTW have they provided you with a loaner each time and is it a Lucid or something reasonably comparable? My personal view is that I forgive a lot of problem so long as the company provides me with a reasonable loaner and makes the process simple. On the other hand, if Lucid sent me to Enterprise six times and made me submit my reimbursement claims to Lucid I would be far less understanding.

With respect, I don't think you should give advice if the situation is a lemon or not. Many of us have very real issues with our Lucid, and the company is not standing behind it's product. I'm happy your situation is different but suggesting someone is overly litigious is not appropriate. Do you work for Lucid lol? The laws are here for a reason. Good to you...

As for the initial poster, feel free to reach out if my experience can be helpful.

I am kinda shocked hearing about issues with lingering concerns and no resolution from the service center. Is there really that big of a delta in training and or craftsmanship between centers? I can only speak to my local center in Rocklin, who go above and beyond any concern, meaning they dont just replace batteries for a fob concern, the provide new fobs. They didn't just add felt and padding to my rear parcel shelf rattle concern, they just replaced the rear shelf. just sharing my experience as any new ev company will have growing pains, but in my experience it reminds me the service tesla used to provide with early adopters of the model S……

With respect, I think everyone is entitled to their opinion on whether something constitutes a lemon or not, as aside from the hard and fast rules about length of time in service, there is plenty of subjectivity in the courts about what constitutes a lemon.

Furthermore, it is absolutely true that once you engage an attorney, their legal team gets involved, and any and all possible routes for Lucid to help you have now gone out the window unless it is through their legal team. You may be fine with that, but denying that is a consequence is absurd.

Anyway, carry on, but please stop posting vague things; please feel free to post about your experience, that would be great for you to share with all of us.

This forum is apparently only for one sided, pro Lucid views. I'm a Lucid stock owner and Dream Edition owner, and can at the same time be honest that this car is turd (at least many of them coming off the line are).

This is pretty simple. If you have an issue, contact a legitimate lemon law attorney licensed in your state. Nobody should take my advice or yours. In my experience, the car is deeply flawed in so many ways. Lucid will nickle and dime you and give you the runaround via customer service, BUT WILL respond via legal process because of course they have to.

Good luck to you sir, and best wishes for anybody else stuck with a car that is not fit for purpose and is impossible to resell for value.

If that were true, your post would be deleted, so your conjecture is quite literally self-defeating.

But cool.

Does the car have flaws. Yes. But I have had my AGT now for 3 and 1/2 years and it still puts a smile on my face whenever I drive it.(flaws and all). From what I have been following on this forum, it seems that customer service is varied. Some have had less than stellar experiences, others have had great experiences. I have personally found my customer service to be generally pretty good. In fact better than I expected considering I live in another state from their nearest service center. I think that sometimes lack of timely communication with owners is a source of frustration and can certainly be improved and I believe that would make a big difference in customer satisfaction. But calling the Air a "turd" is ridiculous and absurd. I would define it as a superb car with room for improvement in several areas.

Really? Its THAT BAD?......I'm proLucid because they make the best damn sport sedan ever made....topples the might BMW M5.....yes, there were trim issues initially, software issues, but Lucid is continuously trying to fix these issies and improve on future model years, You now have updated software, motor mounts to reduce motor whine, better AC, updated chip, heat pump, Tesla supercharger access, improved efficiency, drema drive PRO improvements, apple carplay and android auto.....

I completely and vehemently disgree with you dear sir.....try and convince me otherwise if you can instead of resorting to falsehoods just because you are for some reason pissed off at Lucid.
