Only the executives themselves could tell you. Same for executives who have left Ford, Rivian, Tesla, Stellantis, GM.It seems like an abnormal number of lucid executives have left the company recently. As a soon-to-be lucid owner, this gives me pause. Can anybody give me the straight scoop on what is going on?
As with most companies you’ll never know the real reason for an exec leaving. Even if they were fired it’s usually presented in a way that they decided to seek other opportunities etc.Well I was hoping for some actual feedback about why these folks are leaving. One or two people leaving is fairly normal, but I gather there have been 6+ that are out the door. Is this due to pressure from the interim CEO, or perhaps rats leaving a sinking ship? I am trying to look at this with an open mind.
Well I was hoping to get a sense of whether this was the new guy cleaning house, or people getting out while the getting is good. Hard to know for sure.As with most companies you’ll never know the real reason for an exec leaving. Let’s be honest, Lucid hasn’t had the smoothest of operations since launching so some of it could be related to that or people just simply decided to move on but I don’t think it’s a sinking ship.
If Eric, Derek or Emad left I’d be more worried but they seem like they’re in it for the long haul.Well I was hoping to get a sense of whether this was the new guy cleaning house, or people getting out while the getting is good. Hard to know for sure.
Who left that has you concerned? It seems like an abnormal number of lucid executives have left the company recently. As a soon-to-be lucid owner, this gives me pause. Can anybody give me the straight scoop on what is going on?
That clickbait website which shall not be named ran an article.Who are the 6+ executives you are referring to? Or are you just another person stirring the negativity pot?
In my experience an interim CEO is not going to make significant organizational changes, but rather hold steady so that the permanent CEO has the opportunity to make changes as they see fit. Execs leaving only makes the new CEO’s job harder- even if they were going to be replaced you’d want continuity as the new CEO will want to pick replacements without out a gap. So very little chance they were forced out unless they were on the losing side of a political battle. Either way it’s not great. Is this due to pressure from the interim CEO, or perhaps rats leaving a sinking ship?
Seriously? As someone who has a car on order, I am interested in the viability of the company, yet you come at me with something like that.Who are the 6+ executives you are referring to? Or are you just another person stirring the negativity pot?
I don't know any of the players, but it is somewhat worrying to me when several leave within a short period of time, so I thought I'd ask the question. Apparently I offended some people by asking the question for some reason. However it is an entirely reasonable question IMO.Who left that has you concerned?
It is a reasonable question...especially since many folks on the Board actually know a fair number of folks who work at Lucid. In order to be helpful, and to answer your question, sharing with us specifically who you have heard has left would enable you to potentially have a real answer as to whether those departures are meaningful or not...I don't know any of the players, but it is somewhat worrying to me when several leave within a short period of time, so I thought I'd ask the question.
