IRS W9 for Post Delivery Lucid Cash Payment

I am yet to receive my extra $1000 referral credit from Lucid - I was supposed to receive this in 2 weeks after delivery date of 4/19/24. Upon follow up, my SA came back today and is asking me to send a completed W9 form. I was told that I will not receive any tax forms for any post delivery payments Lucid sends. Has anyone had to do this to receive cash payments from Lucid?
