Hey folks! Been here a few weeks, and really appreciate all of the feedback and banter. Seems like its going to be a great little community.

Here's my stats:

- 12/6/21 - reserved Lucid Air GT, Quantum Grey, Tahoe, 19"
- 03/1/22 - converted to order
- Current daily driver is 2020 Tesla MS LR+ w/ FSD. Will be selling this as we get closer to delivery.
- Plan on doing PPF and ceramic coat for the Air. Had ceramic coat applied to the MS, and was very happy with the results.

No VIN number. Still waiting for a test drive from the Short Hills, NJ location.

As a non-car guy, what appeal does ceramic coating provide?

Easier to wash/remove dirt, resists staining/rusting/chemical etching, and always has a "wet" look. The same benefits as waxing. The difference is that you have to re-wax a car, often. But a ceramic coat will last years, especially if properly maintained. Think of it like a permanent wax on the car.
