I feel another update coming today....

I can’t wait to use it when I leave my hubby in the car to run in somewhere just to mess with him 🤣 So far, I don’t allow my dog in my car but I do know people have been asking for this feature so this is great for them!
It all works out great until your husband sees the words "Creature comfort mode on the screen" 🤣

People and pets in luxury cars is something I will never understand…

Having a cabin mode that’s on for people in the car though…
I mean, technically humans are creatures? It could work very well for the times you absolutely NEED to leave your kids in the car, for example.

How is this different than setting the temperature from outside the locked car via the app. Doesn’t this capability already exist? I must be missing something.
It tells people outside the car that the temperature is fine inside. So that they don’t panic when they see your dog in a “hot” car and smash your windows. (It has happened.)

Also, it stays on until the car drains all the way down to 2%. As opposed to turning off in 45 minutes like it does now.

The 45-minute thing seems to be gone, by the way. Even in “regular” cabin keep mode. So for humans, just set it to keep. No on-screen message.

That 45 minute timer was terrible 😒 — my humans always had it shut off on them.

I'm surprised that the text doesn't also show on the pilot panel, as I think that would be more readily visible to passersby during daylight. Nonetheless, my dog refuses to enter the car, as he feels his android phone is not welcome there.

I guess dog mode will never be complete without android auto. 🤣

The 45 minute timer is still a thing in my car for remote climate. Just used it this morning.

I would have rathered an update to vehicle systems and eliminating glitches. Kinda lame!! 🙄😝

Well if they are down to these kind of updates in the 2 series then 3.0 must be huge!!

Is it possible to be more verbose about the “added robustness” at least where it makes sense? Like I’ve seen in other oems they break down updates by Features, bug fixes, and then rare and very rare issue bug fixes.

Like knowing that something that could potentially improve phantom drain, or mic quality, or phone key performance would be good to know so users can test and report back on behavior. I dunno, just a thought…

I'm very happy to see this, even though it's not of direct use to me. One fewer item for people to harp on, and to lend doubt to potential buyers.

I'm just happy it's one step closer to Android Auto. How? It's another feature off the wishlist so eventually we'll get to the point AA is the only thing left! BTW, my daughter's Maltipoo thanks you because there are times I have to run into the store and can't take her in with me.

"Lucid announced today that they would stop software development on the Air, after fulfilling every iPhone owner's wishes."

It will take a while to get to everyone...

We are introducing Creature Comfort Mode. This feature was added to allow you to leave your pets in the vehicle with the climate control set to your desired temperature. Using this you can keep pets comfortable and safe while you are away from your vehicle. While you are away, we prominently display that Creature Comfort Mode is active and that your pet is safe in the unattended vehicle. Be aware that your HVAC system will cut off when your Battery Charge falls below 1%, which will result in Creature Comfort Mode turning off as well. You will get a notification on your Mobile App when your range falls below 10 Miles (approx. 2%). Creature Comfort Mode settings can be enabled under HVAC while remaining in Park. It will be activated when the driver exits the vehicle and the driver's side door is closed and deactivated when the driver's side door is opened.

And LOTS of robusty-ness. :)
Awesome! 🥳 My furry baby boy happily waiting, "...knows your name..." and will be "pleased"!😘😄😍

I always interpreted the robustness to mean they are cleaning up spaghetti code etc and there wouldn’t necessarily be a user visible change attributable to that part of the update.
