Some updated numbers from me after a few weeks. I'm at about 2200 miles now and have seen a nice improvement in the last 500 miles.
I went from averaging 3.5 mi/kwh for the first 1000 miles to now averaging 3.8 mi/kwh for the past 600 miles. Furthermore, I'm managing that 3.8 without really focusing on range. Still an even mix of city and highway driving.
I recently did a 300 mile road trip where I was able to average 3.8-3.9. Almost all interstate. This was driving normally. Not trying to get better range. Although I likely averaged 75 mph, on this trip, there was some traffic so I had stretches at 85 and some at 70. So more acceleration and deceleration than I did a few weeks ago.
If I'm really paying attention and staying below 70, over 4 mi/kwh is pretty easy now.
Basically, I've seen an improvement of 0.3-0.4 mi/ kwh.
I'd say the major improvement in my driving vs my Tesla is the regen is not using the brake at all. The regen is so much stronger on the Lucid, I can go for days without needing the brake. As others have said, one pedal driving is sooo much better.
Overall, extremely pleased with these numbers. I'm in the 80-85% of estimate range which is great.
I'm in an AGT with 19 inch wheels. Weather was 60-70. Mostly flat with no wind for the past few weeks.
