I didn’t see on your Gravity test drive post; how was the HUD?I would agree with you were I not so excited for the HUD; the Gravity HUD is likely to be pretty incredible, based on what I’ve seen so far.
Otherwise I agree.

I knew you were being lied to when you were told 6 to 8 weeks if you ordered today.![]()
Didn’t test it! Didn’t even think about it.I didn’t see on your Gravity test drive post; how was the HUD?
I have no idea what you’re talking about. Please be specific. So far, Lucid hasn’t missed any stated delivery dates for the Gravity. Might they? Sure. They might. Maybe even probably will! Dno.This is totally ridiculous. A car takes you from point A to B. Once you take out of the showroom its value declines by at least 20-30%.
A company shouldn’t be irresponsible and just smear another saying that they don’t deliver on its promises, when they themselves can’t deliver either.
And then the hierarchy on this forum that comes in and says it didn’t promise this, didn’t promise that. It seems like they have very selective memory.
People here are smart and successful and can remember what was originally said and promised.
Is regular communication/updates too much to ask?
How about delivery by end of 2024.I have no idea what you’re talking about. Please be specific. So far, Lucid hasn’t missed any stated delivery dates for the Gravity. Might they? Sure. They might. Maybe even probably will! Dno.
As for the rest, there are some things Lucid has promised (AA, for example) and we should hold their feet to the fire for that. But plenty of things they never promised (FSD, a satellite antenna, etc.) that people constantly get upset about not having; and *that* is the buyer’s fault for not researching what the car does and doesn’t have.
To elaborate on your response I never talked about fsd, AA. Only about statements made about gravity.I have no idea what you’re talking about. Please be specific. So far, Lucid hasn’t missed any stated delivery dates for the Gravity. Might they? Sure. They might. Maybe even probably will! Dno.

They did deliver, did they not. Did they say all deliveries by 2024??? I would rather wait an extra few months so they make sure Tesal supercharger access and software is to the point. Ever hear of a Porsche or Mercedes delivery getting delayed 6 months? Lucid is making sure they don't repeat the fumble with the Air release...though some of that was due to Covid. How about delivery by end of 2024.
They put down other companies saying we won’t do prolonged delivery times. We will take orders only when we are ready to delivery.
What Peter said was why release a car that is 3-4 years away from production. When Gravity was released , it took only a year for deliveries. Rivian R3 is at least 4 years away from delivery when released. Nothing ridiculous about it.This is totally ridiculous. A car takes you from point A to B. Taken for granted how? And what promises have they broken?Yes you bought up the point. I was about to book Porsche and then decided to wait for lucid gravity. This was just before lucid presented gravity.
Now you mentioned something about gravity promises, we’ll start deliveries by end of 2024 and then we see them only being delivered to family and employees. Totally fine. You deliver it to your people to fine tune things. Totally acceptable. But then you just take people for granted with out updates as to what’s happening and just assume people are id**s and will just bear with your cabal and inefficiency in delivering your promises. Thats beyond.
This odd coming from a person who ovens to lucid airs and was playing to but a lucid gravity. I know how many people looking at my lucid airs infront of my clinic have approached lucid too buy their lucid. Lucid is awesome and I love it but I’m done. I feel cheated and taken for granted.
I believe this is the source of frustration, and it’s certainly mine. To be honest, I don’t recall Lucid ever mentioning deliveries in 2024. However, Peter implied that this process wouldn’t be prolonged. People were eagerly anticipating the opening of reservations, but he repeatedly stated that they wouldn’t do that because they don’t believe in making people wait for a year or so. He also mentioned that Gravity would be ready for production when orders opened. I think he created unrealistic expectations, and then they executed the “deliveries started” stunt at the end of December, leading people to believe that traction would begin on deliveries. Since then, there has been complete silence, except for the announcement of the Supercharger accessHow about delivery by end of 2024.

Nobody is blindly supporting it. I have an Air. I love it. I’ve driven the Gravity, more than once. It’s spectacular. The cabal needs to understand that blindly supporting the inefficiencies l;you are inevitably losing supporters. People love the product but that doesn’t mean you with your blind support are helping the growth but you for sure are inevitably destroying it
Yes it is. Ridiculous for sure.Nobody is blindly supporting it. I have an Air. I love it. I’ve driven the Gravity, more than once. It’s spectacular.
That’s not blind support; that’s exactly the opposite. It is informed support.
Has Lucid made mistakes? Plenty! And I call them out all the time.
I understand the wait sucks. Everyone is waiting.
But “ridiculous” it isn’t, at least not yet.
I suppose we’ll have to agree to disagree. Good day.Yes it is. Ridiculous for sure.
We learn from our mistakes. The one who will be successful is the person who learns from his mistakes. It’s a company.
Everything is a binary now, with no room for nuance of any kind, huh? Noted. Please don’t beat around the bush. It’s extremely disappointing and very hurting to have to get to this point. You either accept your mistakes and apologize or say you are inefficient.
No second way. Just audacious that you don’t let people who support you know what’s harming and then swarm with the cabal group to silence the inefficiency.
