Wireless Phone Charging:
The wireless phone charging isn’t working — same issue I had with my Air Grand Touring. It’s disappointing that this problem persists across models, especially given how basic and expected this feature is today.
Take the phone out of the case if you have it in one and try it. I have found one of my cases works and the other doesn’t.

Saw your previous response and Tried without the case also, still didn’t work. Possibly some minor issue will get it fixed when I take it for service

@seanocono you’ll get it soon. Looks like things a picking pace. Be prepared to enjoy a really beautiful car. Undoubtedly best handling , music system and luxury. Some minor glitches with software which possibly will be fixed by the time you get it.
 
I wish I have a SA like yours. My SA, Bryan, never reply my emails and phone messages. I get a response only when I CC the email to [email protected] after couple of weeks of silence.
I have the same SA and he’s never responded to my emails or voicemails. He called me once to see if I wanted to take a different spec that was ready for production (I didn’t). I asked to remove HUD a few weeks ago (after being absolutely blown away by the test drive and really needing a 7-seater) and he still hasn’t done it. So I gave up and just placed another order - day 1 with HUD and mid-June without HUD. Otherwise same spec.

Geez. So hard to see you write that. Call your studio and complain maybe? My experience has been great. I bugged my guy (Bernard) every 10-14 days since November! He answered and responded every time (even though he often had minimal info to add…)
Maybe ask for him? But in hindsight, hang in there. It will be worth it as there is nothing like the Gravity. It is mechanically and physically superlative. (For what it’s worth too, I have a few software bugs, but not as bad as others… but worth it.)
 
My change order finally went through.

Wish I also upgraded dream drive. I really want lane centering... But the price for just lane centering.
I ended up upgrading to Pro just for that reason. My wife is coming from FSD and would very much miss the lane centering TACC. I don’t need everything else, but Lucid gives no choice. So I had to drop an in production VIN and get back in line…
 
Hello all, new to the forum but not to Lucid; leased an AGT from June 2023-June 2025 and have a first day order in for a Gravity, upgraded to GDE the first day that was offered. Like many others that have been through the Lucid ‘experience’ I had my ups and downs with the AGT, mostly software quirks, a front drive unit failure, and some other minor issues. But, as all of you know, Lucid driving dynamics are so far ahead of all other options, committing to a GDE was not a hard decision. Was hoping to role directly into the GDE (my SA thought that was possible early this year), but that was clearly way too optimistic.

I’ve been reading this particular thread since January and can see the frustration level among those awaiting delivery is pretty high, mostly due to the lack of communication and clarity from Lucid. I went through a very similar experience in 2023 with Lucid. This time I’m taking Lucid Financial Services out of the equation which helps. LFS is egregiously poor at what they do and I’ll leave it at that.

Has anyone on this forum taken delivery in Virginia? I saw some pics on this forum taken at Tyson’s Corner with a couple GDEs prepped for delivery. My GDE order (Aurora Green, 22/23 wheels, Tahoe) has been stuck ‘in production’ since April although my SA says it’s out of production and is going through final inspection/awaiting a ‘factory gate’ date. That was 2 weeks ago and no movement. A few days ago, my SA asked if I am interested in switching to a GGT that is through inspection. It’s very odd to me that they are now trying to sell me a car that equates to $40k less revenue for them.

Needless to say, I’m pretty discouraged. Would love to hear if others in VA have had a similar experience or have actually taken delivery.
 
I've been offered a GT in my spec (loaded, no tech package, but add back power) but in black/platinum (instead of black/stealth). I'm confirming all the options do in fact line up, but I might take the plunge on this one.
"Add back power" meaning you would get the Power Package (w/power outlets)?

My SA in Tysons has been super responsive, helpful and pretty spot on with timing. I think the early GDEs likely have quality issues that Lucid doesn’t want “in the wild”, hence the wait. As you said in your post, Lucid also just has poor communication.

For the GGT, it’s not a $40,000 difference. It’s closer to $15,000 if both are fully loaded. I doubt the GGT has HUD though and that’s a big difference for some.
