I think frunk seat is supposed to come with DE but I’ve heard sometimes it is, and sometimes it isn’t.

The frunk organizers look interesting but are they necessary? Do they fit in the frunk with the frunk seat installed?

I’m tempted by the sun shades but afraid I won’t like them, and they only have the front ones. Seems like it would be good to have the rear?

Cargo cover I’m meh on. In the past I’ve found them more trouble than they’re worth if I can’t stow them effectively.

Bento boxes aren’t out yet…..

I have charging infrastructure at home.

Any suggestions?

Lucid added lower rolling resistance and weight for sound deadening. They also made them wider vs standard tire of same size but I think performance was still compromised vs the original and the price is fairly silly at 1k per rear tire

Do you mean the LM1 is wider than a generic PZ5 of the same size or that PZ5s in general are wider than other tires of the same size? I saw a review of the generic PZ5 that said its shoulders were squarer than other tires, including the preceding PZ4, thus yielding a wider tread patch.

I found this interesting from a European manufacturer, as they tend toward rounder shoulders due to the steeper crown angles of European roads compared to the U.S.

Do you have a source for this information, please share that.

We bought two sets of the canopy sunshades (with both sets having front and rear shades) and have installed them in the first Gravity we received. They install easily and fit very well. The Gravity A/C keeps up even in south Florida sun, but they do reduce the load on the A/C and reduce the layering of heat near the roof.

We bought a pair of frunk organizers. If you plan to carry things like groceries in the frunk they would be useful. They are well-made and fold very flat when not in use. We put our frunk seat in storage and have not tried the organizers with the seat in the frunk, but I don't think they would fit as the organizers are sized so that they do not move around when in place.

We had retracting rear cargo covers in both our Lexus RX's. I can't recall ever actually deploying them.

The bento boxes I'm still waiting to get. An after-market insert that @hydbob found is working very well for now (I especially like its coin holder), but the bento boxes have an oversized cupholder which would be useful.

I have to confess your post got my stomach churning again about what happens if we have a flat with a PZ5 while on a road trip. It would not be an easy tire to replace quickly. Best chance to get home would be to find someone who would agree to repair it despite warnings not to do so and then keep the speed reasonable.
We had this happen on our Model X on a road trip through NY on our way home. It was a full flat on the interstate. Fortunately, we were able to pull over safely because we kept an eye on the tire pressure and noticed it dropping. We had a NY state trooper spend a lot of time with us trying to find a replacement in close proximity. Ultimately, we had to have it towed to the Tesla service center in NJ. It was about a 5 hour ordeal. My daughters and I got to ride in the back of the trooper's car to the local outlet mall while my husband rode in the tow truck, so that is a fun story to tell. We replaced so many tires on our MX.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll pass on the frunk organizers until I know how well the frunk seat keeps things from sliding around. I doubt I'll use the frunk for groceries much as I'll probably want them to have the benefit of cabin temperature, but I have my own grocery bags anyways so I may not really need an organizer, per se. I did see that aftermarket insert; i may try it, or just use little tupperwares to keep things neat and tidy down there. I like to have a little first aid kit, and some other essentials just in case, and they don't necessarily need to be "out" so having a tin with a lid seems to work well.

Thanks for the sun shade review. I stupidly never clicked on the item on the site; the main photo only shows the front shades so I thought only the front was available.

Do I need the center cap and/or lug nut covers if I plan to take the aero covers off? The $200 they want for new center caps and lug nut covers seems insane. Can't I buy any old lug nut cover on Amazon?

I have a 2018 MX and I am on my third set of tires since 2020. The fronts are ready to replace now and I don't want to because my Gravity has a pre-vin.

I assume you would. We had the reverse situation. Our Gravity was delivered with the aero inserts in the cargo hold, so the wheels had the bear logo center caps on them. The Service Center installed the aero blades for us and put the "LUCID" center caps on but left the bear logo caps with us.

Frunk containers do not fit if frunk cushion is there per @9point81.

Frunk cushion will either come with or after delivery in GDE but it is included. You may also get another speedform!

I’d recommend the floormats depending on whether you have kids, dogs, etc. That said, LinerX will have them soon, so if you can wait, wait for those.

I don’t think you need to pay $200+ for the lugs. You can find them for 90% less on Amazon. They won’t have the bear on the cap cover, etc but I personally don’t care.

I'm going to keep living dangerously with carpeted mats. I live in the suburbs, not the exurbs - might be nice to have a set just in case I go camping way out somewhere I guess....

The lug nut caps in the photos on the site don't seem to have the bears? Only the center cap.....

God, I don't need another speedform. I have 3. I need 0. I guess I'm stuck with one since I opened the box but I have 2 more. Anyone want one of them?

PS why did a company obsessed with efficiency send the speedforms, which are packaged nicely in a vacuum formed padded box roughly the size of an iPhone box (actually a bit smaller), inside a much larger cardboard box that needed additional paper padding inside?

I never liked the plastic chrome caps on our Model S. I replaced the steel lugs with actual chrome lug nuts, no covers needed.

MKBHD review. Haven't seen it yet...
Spoiler alert - they love it. He doesn’t understand the EPA ratings, so the 386 he talks about is actually what his demo is rated at, not he 450 he says he’s “not really” getting.

He did mention a fob issue, but in general, super positive video. Based on the key and card, it looks like it was provided to him by Lucid.

Yep, just finished it and yeah, his is the exact same spec all around as mine and that's the max range it's rated for. He also didn't seem to know that the Touring is coming soon too.

Gotta say, I really wish I hadn’t hurried and taken an inventory car with platinum…that stealth is awesome.

All right! This video had 8971 views when I started it (only 34 minutes after it was posted) and was up to 14,460 when I finished.

It's too bad he got a car with the key fob problem, but at least he didn't dwell on it. It appeared he judged the third-row legroom with the second row run all the way back, something that no one would need to do to keep the second row roomy enough for almost anybody.

I was surprised (and relieved) that he found the software to be functioning well. And I agree with him that the design of the UI and its integration with manual controls is good to the point of being almost inspired.

And what's to argue with the conclusion about how well the Gravity drives? There's nothing like it in the SUV universe and precious little like it in any vehicle category.

I am going to talk about my issues, but the car still drives like an absolute beast and my wife had no complaints about the third row - that’s a legit endorsement!

The X and quad R1S just sit looking sad in our driveway now. I’d still use the R1S to haul stuff from time to time. The X is on the chopping block.

He also didn't seem to know that the Touring is coming soon too
To be fair, it’s not like Lucid has been forthcoming with any information on the Touring
