Gravity Delivery Discussion

I keep going back and forth. It’s $2,000 to wrap the platinum, but it’s leased and I keep thinking I will just get used to it and when lease is up, I will get stealth…decisions, decisions…true champagne problem.
Save the $2K for the BoA bill you’ll get when returning the lease 😂

To be fair, it’s not like Lucid has been forthcoming with any information on the Touring
I did see an interview a small channel did with Lucid's Gravity marketing manager and he said Touring is expected this year. So that was the first I heard a timeframe and for this year at that.

All they need to do is deliver ONE Touring by December 31st and mission accomplished. We’ve seen time and time again Lucid play these games and I don’t expect the Touring to be any different. With the current GGT woes, Touring won’t be coming thick and fast anytime soon in my opinion. Would love for Lucid to prove me wrong though.

Spoiler alert - they love it. He doesn’t understand the EPA ratings, so the 386 he talks about is actually what his demo is rated at, not he 450 he says he’s “not really” getting.

He did mention a fob issue, but in general, super positive video. Based on the key and card, it looks like it was provided to him by Lucid.
It also looks like the demo he had didn’t have the tech package (no HUD). I wonder what other options were missing, if any.

Based on price he gave, everything except tech and power package.

It’s odd they already have ordering for Touring in the Saudi market

Do you have a source for this information, please share that.

I compared it to other PZ5 tires in same size on the TireRack website, except they took all the PZ5 sizing a few days ago which makes it difficult to back up…

Don't know the particulars with the LM1 tire but generally OEM tires have less tread depth with few other changes. The lower tread depth improves efficiency, noise and dry traction. These are all thing reviewers test or help with CAFE. It also decreases life and wet weather traction neither of which is usually tested in reviews.

This is one of the reasons I like “Tyre Reviews” with Jonathan Benson. He puts a lot of focus on wet performance which he says is ultimately the most important aspect of tire safety.

Was just notified my GGT green, Ojai, HUD, mid size wheel, full spec would go into production October and deliver before Thanksgiving. February order date.
Nice to know the Ojai is finally going to be in production!
Would love to see how this looks when it is complete.

Just got a phone call from my SA to advise my Gravity has completed production. That was 12 days start to finish so pretty quick. Advised delivery certainly by the end of month and any bottlenecks are in getting the vehicles shipped to Scottsdale. She said they have several truckloads waiting to be hauled up I-10.
