Hey I'm living in SD as well. They told me they're looking to set up a service center here too. Does anyone know how soon it will happen? Also do you have to pay to ship your car to a service center if one isn't nearby? Or does lucid cover it if it's not your fault? Thanks!

I don't see the South Dakota location on Lucid's website: https://www.lucidmotors.com/locations
Which isn't a confirmation nothing is happening but it may mean they haven't found a location for the service center yet.

From my understanding, if you possess your car and it needs to be towed to the service center, customers have not been charged. This may change.

You have listed Red/Mojave for my car. This is Incorrect.

I accepted a cancellation and received a Red/Tahoe 3 weeks ago. (WildRide)
 
In the sake of trying to stay up to date, and I am not sure if it matters, but I confirmed my order on 5/10, but I just submitted my final specifications today. (5/26). I would assume that today would be the important date for the spreadsheet.
 
In other news, my Lyriq AWD reservation converted to a real order today. I wonder which will actually show up first, the Air GT or the Lyriq

My car is almost ready for delivery, but the light at the end of the tunnel keeps getting further away. The latest issue is that they scratched my front fender while doing the final inspection/repairs, so now the fender is getting repaired (repainted?) at an auto body shop. I was really hoping to get it before Memorial Day, but my hopes seem to be dashed. It's looking like it'll be home delivery next weekend, after I get back from my trip next week.

How are you even getting this level of detail?! I've talked to three different DAs in the last five days and none of them has said anything at all specific to my car, nor has any of them called with an update when they promised.

My DA is MIA for almost a week now. Last I heard was that my car is at Millbrae awaiting quality inspection. I've sent her two emails and got no response. With the recall and everything I bet they are busy so I'm not going to send another email for 2weeks.

From my DA. I've sometimes had to reach out to him via text or phone, but he's been very good about keeping me updated. My car was supposed to have been finished with repairs and going through final detailing this week before the latest snag set everything back. I imagine your car should be clearing PDI soon.

I think its meaningless how many cars are sitting outside the factory. When they had part shortages, there were a lot of cars their partially completed waiting for parts. If they are shipping them as soon as the build them would be a great sign. They just issued a recall on 1,117 delivered cars. So my guess is that they are going to build and deliver many more than 5,000.

Text was the best way to get a response from my DA. Or schedule a call.
