So, I’m “guessing” that a May 3 confirm is more like a Sep delivery instead of the 2 month estimate by the DA?

Not the case to your case. LOL.

I already confirmed all those details. Received verification via email from DA immediately after phone call with DA. So.....per my DA, the next time I hear from him/Lucid will be VIN assigned.

VIN Assigned: no
Delivered: no

They seem to be making them at the factory as probably a test run for when it's actually time to get the quality right. The current talking point is July starting to make production cars.

Right--I've seen photos of silver in a Studio (prob a prototype), but I meant have they filled any silver orders. You cleared it up

have they delivered any greys yet? i know we have few members in the forum awaiting pickups but i don't recall seeing anyone picking up theirs.

You really can't guess with any accuracy as to when your car will be delivered. There are just too many variables that could impact it. First, while we are getting more and more insights as to what monthly production rate the AMC-1 is achieving, we still are clueless as to want the actual rate. Second, the production rate should increase each month as more and more things get worked out in the production line and supple chain issues. With that said, there are a whole slough of other variables that could slow down production, including what we are seeing now (i.e., QA/QC issures), labor problems, supply chain issues, etc. etc. etc. If you are like me (you poor boy, if your are...), you are anxious to get the car and like to estimate when you will receive it. However, my advice is to just sit back, enjoy reading this blog and learning all the neat things these folks are providing to us. That is the only way I can mantain my sanity. o_O

There are several delivered outside the forum, only one (as @Neurio mentioned) reported on the forums. Several have reported seeing them in the wild, though.

My grey GT is still ”in production” and has been since the VIN was assigned on 4/26. DA has not updated me about delays. The last he told me was to expect delivery in 2-6 weeks post VIN. Won’t happen. Wish he would communicate.

I had a DE reserved in like Jan 21 and figured Apr-Jun for delivery. Obviously, I was wrong. Logistics (lease expiry, moving to another state, etc.) forced cancellation of that one. Ordered an Audi. It burned at sea. Cancelled. Ordered an EQS580Pinnacle. M-B hiked prices and started offering delivery dates (for cars with literally unknown content) near Aug. after the war broke out. Cancelled. Back to Lucid early May this year for the GT. Who knows, I might have wheels by Thxgvining…good thing I have a a placeholder. Not good it gets 18mpg for a $105 fillup. Yes, patience is a virtue. In this case, a heroic effort.
 
Side note, was assigned my VIN yesterday taking the previous cancelled order: 05/27/22.

For anyone like me selling a Mercedes EQS, the market is a bit of a b*tch when trying to go through dealers. They are not treating the car market situation in a friendly manner and are absolutely trying to keep the higher ground in who benefits who. I was a bit lucky in how I navigated these waters with some friendly people at an Audi dealership and Auto-nation. They are also advertising a hard time selling EQSs so that’s an excuse they’re pocketing.

Jan 15, 2022. Infinite Black/Tahoe. April 19, 2022. Delivery May 13, 2022.
 
Confirmed May 17, 2022; Grey Grand Touring with Mohave; no VIN and no patience I want it now....lol

I guess I was commenting on the fact that there were later confirmations that have VINs (and I am not in the "gray delay" category) not on the process.

It all seems to be a big, mysterious waiting game....
