Floor mats!

Finally got my car back .. and installed the mats.

Have to say that I'm not crazy about these (esp. for the price). I'm used to Weathertech's w/ the deep wells .. I'm lucky I'm not up north or in a snowy environment, but would still would've liked to have seen a bit more protection.

🤨
For about $35, I think the Motor Trend mats cover more of the floor space and the color at least on the Tahoe matches perfectly. These mats appear to small for the car.

Agree. If I was thinking about the order now, I'd probably order a less expensive set (like the Motor Trend, BDK Proliners, etc.) to get me by until either the 3D or Weathertechs were available.

You have a link to the MT mats? I want to have something on hand when my Touring with Santa Cruz arrives hopefully by end of December. I’ll probably get the 3D mats for better coverage once they are available.

These mats from motor trend look like they would be great for the Tahoe interior.

They are practically a perfect match for the Tahoe interior and they cover the floorboard way better than the Lucid weather mats. They have them in gray color as well.

I ordered both the gray and the beige from Amazon to see which would match the interior better, then returned the gray for a full refund after being surprised about the color fit with the beige.

A bargain for $35.

I ordered the Lucid mats a while ago and they just arrived, but are too small on the driver's side with no dead pedal coverage. I will order the 3D mats.
The Lucid Store was going to ship a set to me tomorrow, but after seeing the photos, I called to cancel. He was nice about it, but I told him the front design was way too small. I’ve got the Motor Trend ones for now, but will wait for either the 3D Mats or WeatherTech.

I got the grey a few weeks ago. I just threw them out. They looked cheap and plasticky in my cream-coloured Santa Cruz interior, especially in the back seat.

I’m hoping the overpriced graphite all-weathers from Lucid will at least look a little better.

In the meantime, and slightly off topic, I’ve still heard nothing about the Mojave and Santa Cruz carpet mats being back in stock.

Here’s my car with the now-trashed Motor Trend grey all-weathers:

You threw them out?? I would have bought them from you. Dig them things out the garbage if you still can. I'll DM you for payment.

How do the front one's look?

At the current rate it looks like they won't be available until after winter given it's been almost 4 weeks of "will be back soon"
The Graphite ones just became available again. I ordered a set. I would have preferred black, but hopefully they won’t be too bad with the Santa Cruz interior.
Thanks for the Heads-ups I just ordered sone for my Tahoe interior. Hope it matches.

I agree that looks tacky. Wonder if the beige or maroon would look better

How do the front one's look?

Oooh…you might be in a little luck. Here’s one I found, not a very good one, but I hope it gives you some idea of how the Motor Trend grey all weathers looked in front:

I have the motor trend tan, and can confirm they are an excellent color match for Tahoe. Unfortunately they are already starting to collect discoloration from shoe scuffs. You can only expect so much for that price though.

My biggest complaint with them is that the drivers side doesn’t wrap well around the dead pedal area. Has anyone trimmed or shaped theirs to make them fit better? Any photos you could share?

How do the front one's look?

Sorry to belabour your question, but I found some better pictures. Here are the Motor Trend all-weather fronts.

How do the front one's look?

I’ve also attached pictures of what I have down now, until the Lucid graphite all-weathers come in. I also found them on amazon, they’re also by Motor Trend, and they’re tan and carpet; and they’re also as cheap looking. I didn’t even bother installing the rear mats. I’m eventually getting rid of the whole lot of tan carpet mats too. They’re just temporary:

Anyone with tahoe interior know how the graphite floor mats look? Better to wait for black or go with graphite, which are currently available on site?
