First Dream Edition Delivery!

I can’t figure out a way to do this. I tried. There’s no PDF or hard copy of it. It’s in the infotainment system and when logged into the owner portal. Here’s some pics of some of the menus on the vehicle though.
One in the glove box is missing! Oh no!

I'm going to use a ceramic-infused wrap (Xpel Ultimate Fusion), so I doubt the badge would adhere on top of the film even if I wanted it.

P. S. I'm an admitted outlier in how viscerally I react against these bear logos Lucid likes to put all over their cars -- a subject of lengthy discussions in the olden days of this forum.
The Bears adhere to the PPF just fine. I have them on my Air with PPF and ceramic coat.

Also, do I need to explain the Bears and their positioning again to the new folks here? There’s an entire thread about the history of the Bears and why the passenger side isn't backwards.

Was told 2 had been delivered at Scottsdale. The third one pictured here is ready to be picked up.

A really cool keychain. There’s a welcome package that will be mailed to Dream Edition owners (which I assume will include the frunk seat cushion), but I don’t have the details of what will be in the package or when I should expect it.
One key fob or two?

Yes, a link to the bear global positioning thread would be great!

Nevermind, I found it: https://lucidowners.com/threads/would-the-cali-bear-placement-bother-you.5348/

I don't think it really settles the topic, but it gives their reasoning ("it's the CA flag, where the bear faces left"). When you put the US flag on something, it hangs with the wind. But it's not the CA flag here, it's just the bear, so... anyway... not going to change their minds about it.
Think of it as being able to re-use the same bear instead of having to make two.

I'm thinking about calling my delivery advisor to see if we can request a "delete option" for the badge. (But first I've got be sure I can control the urge to demand that he pick up the phone and find out from someone why I still can't get a VIN issued.)
Didn't @borski mention the "fender bears" are applied pretty late (delivery center?).

If so, maybe something "could be arranged" for sequencing the application at/during/after wrapping the vehicle.

Correct. It would appear that way.

Yes. My delivery advisor has added a note to the delivery instructions to just give the badges to us instead of putting them on the car.

The new UX functionality is wonderful, and should eventually put an end to the interminable complaints about the Air's software.

Another question for @Osyris:

The test drive vehicles during Press Week showed some differences in 2nd row seats between the Tahoe and the Yosemite interiors. The Tahoe interior had a strap for pulling down the center armrest while the Yosemite had a tab. Also, there was a decorative vertical stich line running down from the headrests on the side seats on the Tahoe, but the line was missing on the Yosemite.

Also, there was the same difference in the front seats regarding the stitch lines, and there was an embossed bear logo on the Tahoe front headrests but not on the Yosemite headrests. (Maybe you cannot emboss the synthetic leather the way you can the real leather?)

These were supposedly production vehicles, so do you know if these differences carry over to the cars being delivered to customers?

Build quality is top notch. I haven’t found any “annoying” build quality issues yet, which is terrific.

No squeaks, whines, or anything else so far.

The AC is still just “ok”. The decision to have the vents relatively narrow slot style (just like the air) was a poor choice and one I wish wasn’t made, but I can see that it was done for aesthetic reasons. You can’t really get cold air to blow in your face, only about to your upper chest, which makes it seem less efficient as well. It’s a small complaint though.
I agree with you. I and my wife would also prefer to have the cold air blown directly at our face on a hot day. A small complaint for you. A moderate to large complaint on my end.

I have a bit of the opposite issue with the Air's vents. I sometimes want them to deflect airflow further away from me than their limited range of motion will allow.

The best vents I ever saw were the ball vents in GM cars from the '60's. They could throw air anywhere or close simply by rotating them in their felt-lined sockets. They also looked kinda cool.

Among the cars we have, Air has the weakest AC.
I was hoping that the AC in Gravity would be a lot more robust for the wicked summer here.
Please keep us posted on how the AC handles incoming three-digit temps.

So, I actually checked for this yesterday during my test drive. I was able to aim it towards my face (which I like)...so perhaps it has a bit to do with seating position and height?
