Gravity Dream Edition in Miami

That means your vehicle has had an OTA update pushed to it.

Interestingly, mine is still empty. Can you post the notes?
Here you go!

It's funny it says Air instead of Gravity. Someone needs to clean up some legacy codes, lol.

At least I now have somewhere else to look instead of just refreshing the damn status screen. Still no entries in my update list. My SA is able to see the state of charge on my battery. I'm not sure what that indicates. Funny how we just look for the littlest things to give us hope. We are all like little kids on Christmas Eve just waiting to get out presents.
They can also GPS the car and see exactly where it is. Mine has been at the factory since late April.

I don't have any software updates yet (I'm assuming my car is not yet built) but I can see the same owner's manual and software update pages (both are mostly blank, though they do call out a VIN and that it's a GGT), but the link to view the manual in PDF takes me to the Air manual, and the photos on the pages show Airs as well.

In my (limited) experience all of this glitchiness is par for the course w/r/t Lucid's comms.

Is it strange that my VIN ends in 57XX? I though VINs reflect actual builds. I find it very weird. Anyone else?

That’s because those release notes are for the Air, not Gravity. The endpoint being used by the dashboard page to load the notes only works for the Air right now. I’m not sure if anyone has figured out where to pull the Gravity manual and release notes directly from yet.

This page is what my portal pulls up as well. https://publications.infotainment.p...-45ce-8209-2c445b230162/content_en/index.html

The 5 numbers at the end of the VIN are assigned randomly. It doesn’t mean anything about order of sale or production. I’ve only seen serial numbers in the thousands (01000-09999, as opposed to ten-thousands), but they’re all over the place.

Sort of updates, I guess…

I was checking my account and saw that additional OTAs were being pushed to my car. It's interesting to see that the release version is sort of backward.

No idea what this indicates. I’m being cautious not being hyped up again.

This is interesting! They seem to be rolling back to an earlier release?

My guess is that they needed to reset. Maybe inspections found things to replace, some might only have firmware in v1.0.0, some in 1.1.0 and the versions may require application on top of prior version.

Some of the version numbers relate to different components in the vehicle. Right now they're all displayed on the one dashboard page, but I suspect it will not make sense until later, when general software releases are the only updates getting pushed to your car. If you access the Lucid API to pull the OTA history, you can see the full name of each update. Some have abbreviations such as TCU or SCM, so they may relate to specific systems. That could be one explanation for the version numbers not being in order. I have no particular knowledge of how Lucid applies updates so take this with a grain of salt.
