Gravity Dream Edition in Miami

Nice to meet you all! New to the forum.

I have been communicating with a delivery specialist since last week. My Gravity DE is on its way to Miami, and they are pushing to get it delivered by the end of the month. They told me it was supposed to be the first Gravity DE in Miami. I’m super excited!

I want to contribute to the forum, so as soon as I take delivery, I’ll post pictures and answer any questions you guys might have.

I am trading in my Cyberbeast Foundation Series for this, and I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.

Congrats! I am in Orlando and hoping to get mine fairly soon as well, although I don't have a firm date yet. Do you mind sharing your order date, whether you have any other lucid history or if this is your first one? What is your configuration (color- int/ext, wheels, I assume 7 seater etc). And yes please do share any other information and photos!

Pretty exciting news! I got a call from the manager at the Scottsdale showroom on Thursday night. He asked if I would be interested in taking delivery of the first Dream Edition, with the caveat that the CEO would be attending, there would be a ribbon cutting ceremony, and it will be filmed. They want to do it before the end of the month!

I wanted the smaller tires for the added range so they are changing those away from the 21”/22” that come “standard”, but I’m due to take delivery on 4/30/25.

I can’t wait! I’m leasing it to take advantage of the $7500 credit. I’ll post pics once I take...

So it seems the real show is finally about to begin.

Congratulations on getting your GDE imminently! . . . and I'm looking forward to hearing as much about your delivery and first drive experience as you're able to share.

I have a feeling Lucid is not scheduling deliveries based on order dates or ownership history but rather on considerations that will probably remain obscure, at least for a while.

We have had an Air Dream Edition since December 2021 (No. 154 and now No. 395) and ordered a Gravity GT the morning orders first opened on November 7. I switched that order to a Dream Edition the morning orders for Dreams opened up, and I've ordered a second one since (one Aurora Green and the other Abyss Black, the two colors they are supposedly building first). Our cars, too, are to be delivered out of Miami.

Although I got a request on the 20th (Easter Sunday) to confirm the orders, which I immediately did, I still don't have the VIN for either car or any word on a delivery date or even a window. I have two cars to trade for the two Gravities but have been told the trade-in estimates can't get underway until a delivery window is in sight. I've been sent no paperwork to sign nor been asked to submit insurance information or anything else relating to document preparation. So I suspect we won't be seeing one for a while.

I'm a bit curious why no VINs have been assigned yet but by no means upset. As I've posted earlier, I'll be a bit relieved to see some other Gravities come off the production line first.

As for getting the first one, I would have bet on @borski. Although @Osyris, who is new to the forum, posted on Reddit that he, too, has a considerable association with Lucid, having been to several company events and having an Air that Lucid has used for some publicity purposes.

Hi there! This is my first Lucid. I ordered the GT on February 10 and was offered to upgrade to the ED on February 26. I believe I got my VIN assigned last Monday. My VIN ends with 1209.

Aurora Green Metallic, Tahoe Leather Interior, 22" Front / 23" Rear Aether Stealth Wheels, Stealth Appearance and Front and Rear Motor, All-Wheel Drive.

Okay, here are the updates. My delivery specialist said the vehicle is still being loaded onto transportation and will soon be coming to Miami. I guess I have a couple more days to kill. Waiting is excruciating.

Hi there! My VIN was assigned last Monday, and I just finished all the trade-in paperwork today. If you are taking delivery in Miami too, my specialist did say there were other shipments incoming shortly.

How was the trade in ? Did they offer you a reasonable value? I plan to do the same but my experience with Tesla in the past makes me hope Lucid is not as predatory on evaluation

They gave me a lower-than-expected number. Unfortunately, my Tesla is not currently holding up its values. The trade-in value is based entirely on the KBB website.

The process itself is pretty straightforward, though. I did have some hiccups with KBB, but they were fixed quickly.

Nice, super jealous!! I should have upgraded my November GT reservation to Dream earlier maybe... Hopefully several of us will see assigned VINs sooner than later!
