Gravity Dream Edition in Miami

Quick update:

The car has just arrived in Miami. My delivery specialist is trying to determine the inspection process to prepare me for a delivery window.

Getting hyped again.

Final update, I hope:

The delivery specialist said the service center has been waiting for a small part to arrive tomorrow, hence the long PDI process. It should not affect the appointment on Monday. They are very excited. So am I. I wonder what that small part is, tho.

Fingers crossed.

I never thought I needed to post another update, but here we are.

After the gigantic fuck up from the Miami World Center SC, I have agreed to a new deal and a new vehicle. Same configuration.

The new delivery date is next Thursday. I told them I would give them one more chance to make this right and would not talk negatively about them unless they fuck up again, of course.

Overall, it was not the smooth experience I had hoped for, but I’m still excited about the car. Now, if, for some reason, I am not in the driver's seat of my GDE by the end of next Thursday, I’ll come back and post details on what has been going on.

Fingers crossed.

New vehicle? What happened? Did it arrive destroyed?

Let’s just say the original vehicle became undeliverable after the mess-up. Again, the manager is doing the right thing by assigning a new vehicle with identical specifications. I’m willing to give them the chance to make things right.

Sounds like there's a good story to be told there!
