Cosmos Silver Thoughts?

This is the first picture I have seen on cosmos silver. The silver is a little disappointing to me coming from a silver model S. I am curious what you all think about it. I had a lot of hopes for it and initial look is it’s more Greyisj bluish like my Honda odyssey it’s like lunar silver maybe shooting more for a moon grey than silver. Is it actually silver??

IMO it looks A+. But on the same vein, I think ALL Lucids look great - especially when you look at them at differently during the day.

Maybe, if you are planning to XPEL it, the installer can put in a matte finish? That may suit you?

The cantrails and the paint are different colors; I saw one today at Millbrae and the most recent pic posted is fairly accurate. It’s beautiful, and there is a bit of contrast!

Agree, the one we saw today was a GTP and it did look very nice. Love the GTP wheels also.

Yeah, the GT-P wheels are my second favorite, right after the 20s.

Oh wow...I've been doing the Silver/Gray waffle, but this pic tilts it to Silver for me...a big fear is that I might have to pull the trigger without ever seeing the real colors (on a car) in the flesh

I have to say, all of Lucid’s colors are beautiful. The gold is probably my least favorite, which is nuts because it’s also beautiful.

I saw every color except silver at Millbrae several months ago. I was surprised I didn’t hate the gold. Usually not my thing. But it was nice. Not at all bling-y. Dignified.

Gold is the best color! Not biased or anything like that at all.

sighting along the car body will reveal small dents ... this crease is all but invisible but can see seen/felt. Otherwise I saw only two places with scuffs in the clear coat, otherwise the paint/body is perfect, so far. Yes the gaps are not great and the fuel door is a bit misaligned (only knew to look because of this site), but I don't care about that now. Everything seems to work. The massive download started when the car was asleep in it's stall. Went on all night long with a cacophony of whurrs clicks buzzes and all sorts of flashing lights. Then it would sleep inert for a while, only to reawaken like a fireworks show or slowly, by flapping it's door handles.

Thought you might be interested in seeing The Kurgan, who delivered my car 3pm 29 Sept. 2022. He had to crawl up to the driver's seat from the rear hatch. Max regen was set making it very difficult to back the car out onto the ramps. In Russian accent the only thing I heard the driver say was: "Kar hard to drive." If you can switch the regen off when backing car out of trailer I believe this will be easier. It took us several attempts to line it up...very jerky with regen on makes this more difficult than it needs to be.

I got to see cosmos silver a little better in person it defineltely looks better in showroom vs outside under shade. I also drive a the Tesla original silver model S to compare

Cosmos Silver is a medium silver color, not really light. It's beautiful - saw one at Millbrae.

I would say my silver is more earth tone than, let's say, Mercedes iridium or Porsche polar silver. I like it but wouldn't really call it "silver."

I would agree with this.

They had a silver when I went to pick up my quantum grey. I had originally ordered a silver and switched to grey with the delays on the silver. I plan to get a Gravity in silver so took a very close look at the silver while I was there.

I was initially disappointed with the silver because as you’ve observed, it’s more of a light/ medium grey as opposed to what I think of as silver on a car.

It is pretty. And I may still get for the Gravity. Depending on other color options.

But I understand what you’re saying and think it’s an accurate description.
