Colorado

Picked up the car yesterday, and delivery etc. went fine. DA is Eduardo Gonzalez, who was relocated to Denver from California last month (he's been with Lucid since May, I think?) Car looked great, but he'd already found some cosmetic issues (one weird one is a missing piece of trim on the floor of the passenger side doorway.. totally obvious, and strange that it hadn't been fixed before). Anyway, the only other issue was a charge port that wouldn't open from the outside- that's on the the same service ticket now.
Delivery took about an hour and 45 minutes, and he was very knowledgeable and patient.
I did ask about the timing for a Denver service center, and they said they were actively looking for property. So hopefully, coming soon. Beautiful drive back, through Leadvillle and South Park- Car's amazing.
That’s awesome. Congrats.

Yes. I’ve had my DE for several months. I’m in Denver (Cherry Hills Village).
I can’t believe I haven’t seen you. I’m a new member here, but have had my Dream since 11/18/2021. Also in Cherry Hills.

That’s great news on the service center. Mobile service is great and responsive, but it would be nice to have a dedicated spot.

I asked my DA about the # of cars in Colorado, and he said it was more than 10, but less than 20. Seeing one in the wild here is pretty rare- I've never seen one.

I have yet to see one here in Boulder. And believe me, I have been looking.

Ever since we put down our deposit a year ago (almost exactly), I've been on the lookout for a free-range Lucid. Two x-country road trips (to opposite coasts), many trips to major cities and I've never ever seen one. Would expect that Boulder (My Birthplace!!!) would have a couple, and for sure some of the fancy-schmancy parts of Denver would provide some sightings, but the only Lucids that I've ever seen were my own, and the ones in the studio. Maybe now that we're going to be hanging out at charging stations (or, judging by the threads here, maybe not) we'll have more opportunity.

Hi guys.
Anxiously awaiting delivery of my touring (hopefully before EOY). Live In Highlands Ranch.
Any of you guys add PPF/tint? If so, any recommendations?
I used ColoradoDetail for my model S about 6 years ago. They did a great job and thinking about using them again.
Hope to see you guys around town.

I have not yet committed to doing PPF. I do want to do a ceramic coating for sure, though. In the past I've used The Works here in my neck of the woods. http://www.theworksboulder.com/
They do very good work. The ceramic I put on my Tesla lasted 3 years, easy. They also do PPF.

You are not very far at all. Hoping to organize some meetups in the area sometime in the new year. I'll post here when I get around to figuring out more details.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to the meetups.

Finding it hard to believe I'm the only one in CO here. On the one hand, might be nice to be the first with a Lucid in the area. On the other hand, doesn't bode well for a service center in the near future.
I also live in Boulder co. Delivery agt on 12/28/22

Well that'll be a nice Christmas present. And to some earlier queries about getting a permanent service center in the Denver area- I've have a lot of communication recently with the techs in Englewood (see my posts in other threads). There are 2 techs working out of a body shop in Englewood that are handling all the cars in a 500 mile radius (or so). Both techs (Tom-Peder and Mel) are great- responsive, responsible, knowledgeable and wholly committed to making the owner experience top-notch. As I understand it, they are looking to buy/lease a space, but have had a hard time finding anything in the metro area. I don't think that they have much communication with the Studio at Cherry Creek, and are working to get all pre-delivery inspections handled by them- not in CA or WA.
Oh- and there are currently about 50 Lucids in CO.

Hello Coloradans. My first post. I‘m anticipating delivery of my silver Touring this month🤞🏽. I’ve lived here for many decades, and have always had tinted windows to protect from our mile high sunshine. Has anyone had their’s tinted yet? There seems to some concern out there that it’s a trickier job than on other cars. Any recommendations for an experienced shop in the Denver metro area?

Welcome to the club! I had PPF and tint done with ColoradoDetail. They have worked on my Lucid as well as two other cars. They do good work.

Question for Colorado owners!
(So I have a hard time believing that there aren’t more CO people on this forum) But… question for the locals: We’ve had our AGT since October, and aside from the some minor glitches, the car’s been great. The local service techs were terrific, and I was told (ny them) to make contact directly with any issues. But… apparently they (Mel and Tom-Peder) are both gone. Now, trying to get anything done is a whole lot more cumbersome and time-consuming. They’re still using the 2-stall garage at Nylunds Auto Body, despite (according to the Denver Studio) delivering hundreds of cars in CO. Anyone have any comments about recent service?
