Finding it hard to believe I'm the only one in CO here. On the one hand, might be nice to be the first with a Lucid in the area. On the other hand, doesn't bode well for a service center in the near future.

Just remember that the vast majority of folks ordering are not on this forum so there may be more in Colorado than you imagine.

I should think so. Here in Boulder, you'd think there was a law against not owning a Tesla, there are so many on the road. EV charging infrastructure is pretty good around here, too. Including up in the ski resorts.

PDI for Colorado cars is done in Scottsdale. The Scottsdale service manager told me of several to Colorado already including one to Boulder this week.

Nice. When they delayed the studio opening in Cherry Creek to Summer I was worried. Good to know I'll be in good company.

Welcome.

I just joined and split time between Durango, Scottsdale, and Mission Viejo. Looking to take delivery in early November. GTA, QG, Mojave

Nice. Welcome to the forums. Cherry Creek, up near Denver, is opening its studio next week. And they are starting test drives from there. But you are likely better off doing that at Scottsdale.

So we're scheduled to get our AGT (Silver, 19") this Saturday in Denver. Super excited, etc. etc, but wanted to try and connect with other CO owners to share delivery experience. So far I have been underwhelmed by the level of support from our local SA and DA folks. All of the original people we spoke to back in May/June to finalize the order, arrange the test drive are MIA, and when we were finally contacted last month (maybe late August) it was by Ross Edwards in CA, who handled all our finance, pre-delivery, registration etc. etc. questions. He's also the one that told us on 9/27 that (a) we had a VIN, and (b) the car was out of production, on the way to CA for final inspection. Since then (nearly a month later), we've only gotten some vague texts from unknown (local?) folks saying that the car was really on its way.. (no, Really!). Anyway, between this terrible communication, and the lack of a real service center in the state, I wanted to see what others had experienced/were going to experience as the number of cars in the state increases.
Anyway- thanks for any insight you all might have.

I have a Touring on order, so I haven't dealt too much with my DA yet. I scheduled a test drive in the early summer, and that went well. But beyond that, I've only stopped by the store once or twice to chat with folks. Sounds like some of those folks may have left the company already.

I'll have much more to say when they start confirming Touring orders, hopefully next month.

Keep us posted on your experience. I know a few folks here on the forum have taken delivery in CO, but at least one was way before the Cherry Creek location even opened.

I definitely want to maybe have a meetup or something when more of us have our cars, if folks are interested. I doubt we can get Lucid reps to show up and buy us breakfast like the Arizona folks have done, but you never know.

Would enjoy that. At some point we'll have enough in the state to field a basketball team (with no subs)?
Overall just excited, and not too bothered by a lot of the negative stuff I read here. But... my wife keeps asking what we'll do if something goes wrong with our (very) expensive new car, and I keep telling her that they'll take care of us. Fingers crossed.

My DA was great, and my SA has been exceptional. DA came from Oregon and delivered 3 cars in the same trip. SA is located here and is very personal and responsive.

You are not alone in Colorado. We have the only Lucid I know of on the western slope since it was delivered to Grand Junction last January. Great service out of Denver, we just feel bad for them spending the entire day traveling just to service us. The car drew a lot of interest at a local car show this fall. We may have even sold one to an overexcited woman at the show. She spent nearly an hour going over every aspect of the car.

My delivery was pretty flawless. They delivered mine directly to my house in Berthoud. Have had an ongoing Navigation problem which generated a prompt visit from the field service techs. It's been an on again, off again issue and then two weeks ago got the turtle of doom situation. It was put back in a covered hauler and taken back to Denver where it is been under diagnostics for 14 days. Latest conversations with them is that the 2.0 series of software updates should fix the problem, but the service techs are waiting for Lucid folks to download them. (Seems like they should be able to get that done relatively quickly so I'm becoming somewhat skeptical as to the delay. Trying to be patient.)

Other than that, communication has been reasonably good. The car was awesome until the latest problem.

I'm in Durango but we're picking up our MG in Scottsdale. Our DA out of Scottsdale has been pretty good. There are 2 AGTs here in Durango, beside mine. Anti-snowbirds, probably.

Thanks all of you- I'll show this thread to my wife, and hopefully gain a little peace (Especially with @ColoradoKent getting service all the way out on the Western Slope). We're in Colorado Springs, so not too far from Denver in a TOD situation (which will hopefully never happen...)
I did freak out a little when [unknown] DA told us that delivery and handoff would take no more than 30 minutes.

Picked up the car yesterday, and delivery etc. went fine. DA is Eduardo Gonzalez, who was relocated to Denver from California last month (he's been with Lucid since May, I think?) Car looked great, but he'd already found some cosmetic issues (one weird one is a missing piece of trim on the floor of the passenger side doorway.. totally obvious, and strange that it hadn't been fixed before). Anyway, the only other issue was a charge port that wouldn't open from the outside- that's on the the same service ticket now.
Delivery took about an hour and 45 minutes, and he was very knowledgeable and patient.
I did ask about the timing for a Denver service center, and they said they were actively looking for property. So hopefully, coming soon. Beautiful drive back, through Leadvillle and South Park- Car's amazing.
