Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Porsche for Taycan Batteries Allegedly Causing Fires

I have this car and have taken it in for the recall once. I guess I will need to take it in for a second time.

"Furthermore, the lawsuit claims that Porsche has known about the issue since February of 2020 after a Taycan caught fire and caused significant damage to a Florida home."

"Rather than identifying a repair or replacement of all the defective batteries, the recalls instruct Taycan owners to limit charging to 80 percent capacity, resulting in a reduction of the advertised range that Taycan owners paid for and requiring owners to charge the Class Vehicles more frequently,”

Yea I'd be upset as well.

Comparing and contrasting Lucid proactively replacing HV batteries against Porsche, only agreeing to replace battery modules once monitoring software is implemented in 2025 - but not the entire battery pack. Wow! I will be super pissed too.
