Car won’t go into DRIVE !

Okay so the facial recognition being a contributing factor is definitely debunked, my next theory is that it’s related somehow to the Bluetooth connection to the phone key…. The loud clacking I’m hearing is from the Bluetooth connection to my phone audio, and when that stops the car allows driving
I don’t use the mobile key. Don’t have it configured.

I don't believe this is true. My kids have mentioned to me the car did the "clacking" thing when they enter the car first from the rear doors (after I remotely cool and unlock the car). The driver's door never opened.
Yep, I finally experienced the clacking from just the rear door.

Mine would not go into drive when I went to use it last night.

Car details - 2023 Pure AWD, not plugged in, raining out, passive unlock turned off, carrying fob, no phone.

Incident details - pressed door handle to unlock car, got in, buckled up, pressed brake, had no screens. Tried shifting into forward, them reverse. Got a back-up camera, nothing else. After trying to shift a couple of times and pressing the parking brake, I did a reset. 15 to 30 seconds later the car was ready to drive.

2025 Air Touring DD pro.

Won't go into drive after charging. Have to wait 30 seconds - minute. Only way for me to fix, is get out of the car, lock and then unlock. Happens to me after every single charging encounter.

It’s maddening for me ! Still waiting for a software fix . My wife’s lease is coming up and after watching this issue Lucid is out of the question for her next car .
