Unfortunately, this no-drive issue happens whether I wake up the car remotely or not. I've tested it several ways, cold wake, wake up for <1 min, <5min and >5min. Doesn't matter if charging or not. It probably happens about 6/10 times. I believe it happens even when I return to the car when enabling Keep mode in climate controls.
Also please realize I am not saying any of this to deter other users - I don't mean to make any unsolicited recommendations for anyone else unless they ask for it. I'm just simply saying that if I experienced or had read about this when I was in the market for a new car, this would be enough of a deal breaker for me, personally, to keep me away from Lucid. I'm glad I didn't as I love the car, and at this point it's fine because *hopefully* they will have a fix as soon as possible. But if all else was equal and I hadn't already put money down, this is annoying enough I would easily look at other options on the market.
If this drags on another month though, it'll probably forever sour me on this brand. Problems occur but issues as serious as disabling the car from driving for a minute or longer should be addressed with utmost urgency and transparency.
I also bought this car on the promise that V2H would be available by end of 2024, which obviously hasn't happened. I'm fine with it as I found a workaround by using my Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 (Lucid can charge the Delta Pro 3, which can then power my house, just not at the same time). But I do look forward to the day when V2H finally works
