Car won’t go into DRIVE !

Good morning!
Have you talked with Lucid service about it ? What’s their feedback?

Thank you
I've been traveling for a few days and haven't had a chance to reach out to Lucid. I started carrying my key fob and haven't experienced the issue since then.

@borski had a good triage idea. Can we all post their Air spec to see if there’s anything common in our Drive issues. For me…

2024 Air Touring; DD Premium, Surreal Sound. 19” wheels. Aluminum roof.

That’s interesting. I will try the key fob and report back
Thank you

Unfortunately I only use the fob and it still happens to me when removing off charge. Hasn’t happened so far when not on charge. (Fingers crossed)
That’s how it started for me , but now 50-60% of the time it refuses to go to drive regardless. I have noticed the last few days the glass cockpit it’s actually frozen until the READY to drive displayed . It takes about 30 to 50 seconds to unfreeze..
Sometimes closer to 2 min .
I have send a video to Lucid service already

Yeah. I think it’s hung doing something or waiting for something in the vehicle.

@marqie do you know if Lucid is aware of this issue? I’m needing to reboot my car after every time I charge, to drive. The main cockpit is completely unresponsive and won’t go in to drive. No ready symbol. Just the PRND on screen. This isn’t acceptable. I do hope there’s a quick turn around with a big fix.
Our software team is looking into these concerns.

This is 100% a bug with last update. My screen goes blank. Shows driver door open. My speakers start doing about 20 loud CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK then screen come up with all the icons. So annoying that an update that is supposed to improve actually makes things worse. Is there a way to roll back an update?

No way to roll back an update, but Lucid is actively looking into what happened.

I agree I’d be very annoyed if this happened to me, assuming it’s the OTA.

This has happened to my 2025 AT a couple of times since the latest update.

Just an additional data point here: This happened to me a few times not long after an OTA update, but it was a few months ago back in the Jan 2025 time frame and it was immediately after I unplugged from an EA charging session. It would take a minute or two for the car to go into Drive. This stopped happening after 3 or 4 times and hasn't reappeared since.
