Bass too high with 2.5 OTA

Good afternoon folks,

I have been trying different music genres and platforms to determine if the latest OTA version 2.5 has given me too much bass where I have to dial it down to the bare minimum to enjoy some bass that doesn’t overpower my Surround Sound speakers (not pro).

Would a service visit tech from Lucid be able to dial down the bass through his magical software?

I have a visit coming up this month so I thought I would create a list of items that need some Lucid TLC.

And yes, our favorite Borski has made me see the error of my ways in not going with a GT that has it all.

I'd just wait for the next OTA. Lucid has stated that further refinements are in the works.

Haha that was never my intent.

But no, service can't adjust the sound; Lucid is listening though, on the other thread, and @mcr16 has been taking (and sharing) notes internally, for future OTA updates. If you have specific timestamps or songs, please post them on the other thread.

I've had a similar problem of dominating bass since the car was new (2023 Air Pure with SSP). Tech looked at it but found no problem. I've just turned it down all the way and am getting used to it.

The 2.5 update seemed to be directed towards complaints from many owners complaining about the "poor" sound quality of the Air. As you can see from the feedback, many owners liked the previous iteration as a more neutral sound. I do hope they can find a solution (new update) to make everyone happy...
