Question to anyone/everyone here - I just did my test drive at the Fashion square location and the only odd / jarring thing during my entire drive was I really had to push hard on the accelerator in Smooth mode to get the car moving!? Perhaps I'm used to the gentle acceleration needed with the Model 3? I just wasn't able to reason why I felt that way. Swift mode was slightly better I suppose

I think the Lucid Air at Fashion Square is the GT, but not certain. It is white. When I drove it, the driver-side door handle was broken and the advisor had to get in on the front passenger side and open the driver-side door (not a good impression). We drove off the lot, onto Scottsdale Road, and north to McCormick Pkwy. He then parked the car at the Chart House Parking lot and we walked around the car as he explained things. I got in behind the wheel and drove it east toward 101. He then changed it to Swift mode and told me to go nuts. Which I did. The dam thing is a rocket. We exited Chaparral Rd and drove back to Fashion Square. I parked it right where we first got into the car. My boys were in the back and were impressed.

Interesting...they've changed the protocol (and something must have broken the handle). I last test drove in Feb, but they did all of the walk around before we left Fashion Square. Wonder why they changed it.

Did any of you Arizona people get your Lucid's clear bra or wrapped? Where did you go? I have used Echelon Autosports for my 911 and AMG in the past, but don't know if they have done any Lucids...

I am near Kierland but get down toward Fashion Square a lot (walk in the mall; play golf at the Phoenician). I have a Pure on order (not in a rush as I want to let Lucid work out its gremlins).

i would agree, the go pedal is very firm, but i got used to it very quickly and it gives a great deal of control

It’s my first Ev so don’t have a comparison but I’ve gotten used to it pretty quickly.
Also, when I took the test drive in Scottsdale I feel like it was a little more jerky even on the stopping from what my delivered GT is.
