Locking not an issue. Unlock, maybe a couple times I got to the car and it wasn't awake yet, but as soon as a push the handle, it comes out. If anything, it's too sensitive. Mirrors going in and out repeatedly while I'm just working in the garage. Had to get a faraday box and turn off bluetooth.
A young person showed me that the Lucid app was on and running in the background (Pixel 8) even if I did not see it on the screen. He showed me how to see all the apps that were open and "in the background". Once I properly closed the Lucid app I have no more trouble with the car flapping it's door handles at me. I have not had to turn Bluetooth off.
I keep my fobs in Faraday pouches to prevent battery drain and "flapping". Just because they are inside the house doesn't mean they are not trying to "talk" to the car, if they are in range, which drains the battery. I bet a lot of the problems are weak batteries = because of this. This fob is unlike others I have had.

I have not had the problems others constantly (talking to you, Kyle) complaining about here.
I have to wonder that part of the reason so many can't get the door handles to present before they get to them, is the fob / mobile key is "exhausted" from talking to the car for hours, unbeknownst to the owner. Are you having problems because the fob or mobile key is
"between cycles" ? When I leave home I take my fob out of the pouch and put it in the watch pocket of my jeans, and forget about it. I have to remember to look for it before I wash the jeans, because the fob is so cool, so svelte, I forget it's there.
I believe Borski pointed out that the car's antenna is not as sensitive when approached from the rear. This is my experience, but still, door handles present before I get to them, just not as quickly.
I love this car. I am very sad to read so many post complaining about the fobs and lagging unlocking.
I want to let new owners know = "you are doing it wrong". Forget all you know about key fobs. Get fresh batteries, lick the bitter coating off, and keep the key in a Faraday pouch / cage when not in use. If not using the mobile key, turn the app off = close it running in the background.
