Anyone know of bidirectional charging status?

@borski we would love to hear from you if you have any insider updates on V2H!
I don’t. I do know the last time I spoke to folks about it at Lucid (as in, the actual engineering folks), they are chomping at the bit to get it out. I don’t know why it isn’t, but I do know it’s not because they are ignoring it or don’t care. My suspicion is some regulatory things, but I have no idea.

Thanks. I already use that 12V port and could run LED lighting from it. But I'm thinking about a longer power failure where I would want to run a regrigerator as well.

Outlets.

From the manual: “Each AC outlet in the vehicle can provide 1.8kW of power and be used simultaneously.”

You can keep the outlets on even when the car is off, unless you are either charging the car or have less than 50mi SOC.
Thanks! Yes if its 1.8KW X 3 that is 5.4KW which would be plenty run some backup and emergency items as well as other accessories if camping or doing some outside work. I haven't got my hopes up in my area with the costs of extra boxes, regulations and permissions from the utility and city. Was largely going to supplement with a portable solar panel and portable 5KW battery system.

FWIW I will repeat that a few months ago I was told by a very senior VP at Lucid that V2H would be available before the end of this year.

Dont forget that CEO said the Gravity deliveries start end of April and delivered 1 or 2. I would take any information from Lucid on outstanding deliverables with grain of salt until they are released 😃.
I am not saying this out of frustration but with what current dynamics of the World outside nothing can stay same in the same minute. Nothing is guaranteed.

I've heard conflicting results abuot V2H on the current cars. Can someone save me from reading 8 pages of thread?

Do all Airs that have been delivered have the ability to support future V2H?

Thanks.

Honestly I don't buy this regulatory thing! If Ford or GM did not face such long delays due to regulatory requirements, Lucid should not!
Same goes for Android Auto. If no other manufacturer has faced such long delays from Google, it is definitely your implementation that is causing the delay, not Google!
I am not saying that Lucid having issues with rolling out these feature is wrong. Blaming a 3rd party may be!

Agree with this sentiment. AA should have been out more than 2 quarters ago!
