Gravity dream editionOK. I'll bite. GDE?
Okay, I want to report I have found a solution for the issue after a lot of testing. So sometime this winter some OTA is causing my carlinkit to not connect properly. My phone still connects to it, I can see Android Auto is active on my Pixel 7. But Lucid doesn't recognize it until I replug it multiple times. Anyone else going through the same?
I was thinking "Gosh Darn Electric" or something like that!
Not to be confused with AA on our Android phones, the dashcam described is for Android Automotive (GAS) which will benefit all owners regardless of phone as it would be a native integration. Here's a more detailed article on what Google is enabling for car manufacturers https://www.autoevolution.com/news/...t-turns-car-cameras-into-dashcams-249410.htmliOS users will be left out. I guess time for a new thread for ventingtime will tell
Thanks! I read this as Sept. 2025 for Gravity and hopes for Air. Urghh!!I just saw read this and thought I would share:

Exclusive: Why Lucid Still Doesn’t Have Android Auto
Lucid is a luxury carmaker that sells its cars at a fairly high price tag. Yet, none of its cars currently have Android Auto. Why?www.topspeed.com
I can guarantee you that Lucid did not wait 2-1/2 years to submit to Google. I understand the frustration and wish it would be released but it is not that Lucid has been waiting to submit.Maybe if they didn't wait for 2 1/2 years after Air launch to submit AA for cert this wouldn't be such an issue...lack of priority.
Well, if we have to wait another 7 months for AA can I have ANY update in the interim? It's been 155 days since we've had a meaningful update. I get they now need to support the Gravity software as well but it would be nice to have some communication for Air owners when there's an innovation pause like this.
Changing the native map from Here to Google Maps would be a big way to stop a lot complaints about not having AA.Based on that article, the message seems that it is both Google and lucid not being able to agree to terms. At this rate lucid should stop promising that Android auto is coming. Spend the time effort and money on just further air improvements so that we don't care to rely on AA.
what's wrong with the Here maps?Changing the native map from Here to Google Maps would be a big way to stop a lot complaints about not having AA.
That's not a Here maps Issue, that's a Lucid issue. Here maps certainly has the ability to detect and route to use or not use toll roads. Here maps is *fine* for me on the surface, yes sometimes it navigates to a plaza entrance instead of the address itself but I can get past that. The thing that sucks is living in an area with a lot of toll roads and not having the option to toggle tolls on and off. Makes it unusable in certain situations.
Let me fix this for you - "It is scheduled to come earlier than September 2026 for Air"
The problem isn't scheduling. The problem is meeting the schedule. I'm not trying to pass blame, but scheduling won't help if they don't have full control of things.
